- Q: STREET LEGAL Head Lights
- The inexpensive blue halogen lights cost little more than standard halogen lights. They don't put out as much light in standard wattages, so may be illegal.HID lights are also often blue, and they also produce less light when ordered in blue color. HID are more efficient than halogen per watt input. However, the newest cars use LED headlights, even more efficient. The main problem is that HID lights should have cut-off upper optical pattern to prevent blinding oncoming drivers. So those HID retrofit kits could make your car illegal. New cars have the optics and are DOT approved.
- Q: a. X rays.b. slightly more energetic ultraviolet light.c. visible light.
- by way of fact the universe's age is predicted to approximately 15 billion years, galaxies that are greater diatant than 15 billion gentle years from earth does not seem interior the evening sky by way of fact that their gentle did not have time to realize us.We in basic terms woulldn't understand approximately their life.
- Q: any ideas of what color blush looks good on light skin?
- I think light pink with a touch of matte golden will look pretty on light skin.
- Q: does anyone know what does Safety Indicator lights means?
- That is your turn signals on most cars and trucks. Indicator tells Your hat it is the lights that indicate which way you are going to turn. I also could be your brake lights in that they indicate you are preparing to stop. You didn't`t explain as to how this came up in your life which would have helped greatly. Like is it on a test? Something out of general conversation? Or something relating to a specific vehicle.
- Q: I know that photosynthesis needs light, but i was wondering if cellular respiration needs light?
- Cellular respiration does not need light. Light in photosynthesis is a driving force, but in cellular respiration, the driving force is the proton gradient.
- Q: Choose the appropriate resultant color. If no light is the result, choose none. Green light shines on a blue surface. What color is the reflected light? Magenta light shines on a red filter. What color is the transmitted beam? Red and blue light are combined in equal amounts. What color is produced? Answers can be white, red, green, blue, magenta, yellow, cyan, or none.
- Green light shines on a blue surface. Depends on how each the surface and light is defined, but the standard answer is none. Blue surfaces absorb all colors except blue. Therefore, no light will reflect. Magenta light (there is no such thing as magenta light, it is a mixture of red and blue) shines on a red filter. The red filter absorbs blue and transmits red. Red is transmitted. Red and blue light are combined in equal amounts. Our eyes interpret this color as magenta.
- Q: I have a 2001 Chevy S10, and my third brake light only lights up when the brakes are applied! Is this normal? Or is the 3rd brake light suppose to light up like the tail light brake lights? The tail light brakes light up dim but when brakes are applied they get brighter. 3rd brake light only lights up when brakes are applied, doesn't have the dim feature is that normal?? Please I need an answer ASAP!
- It is normal. The third brake light is only for when the brakes are applied. This gives other drivers a warning. It is also because some times it is difficult to tell the difference between running lights and brake lights if you did not see them go on. The third light on means the brakes are applied.
- Q: Space/time confuses me. As something approaches the speed of light, time slows down. Well, light moves at the speed of light. So does light, looking at itself, move from here to there in no time?
- Anything moving at the speed of light experiences no passage of time. So yes, you could say that light, looking at itself, moves from here to there in no time. Likewise, when something travels at nearly (but not exactly) the speed of light, their subjective travel time from here to there is reduced. From the point of view of the traveler, it is the DISTANCE from here to there which has shrunk. For example, consider a star which is 4 lightyears (about 24 trillion miles) away. If an astronaut traveled there at 99% of the speed of light, the trip would seem about 4 years long to observers on earth. But the astronaut would say that the trip only took about 7 months, and that the star was actually only about 3 trillion miles away. The odd thing is that relativity says they're BOTH right. time intervals and distances do not have any absolute value, but are relative to each observer.
- Q: if you were traveling at the speed of light and put on your lights what woud happen?
- You can't travel at the speed of light. But no matter how close to c you travel relative to the ground or other bodies, you will observe your headlights to operate normally in every way. You will not be crushed by g-forces if you are traveling at constant velocity. The light will not get stuck in the headlights; it emerges from them at the speed of light, c, as measured by you. The light strikes bodies ahead of you and reflects back to your eye exactly as it does at 55 mph, except that the return signal will be very blueshifted if it is reflecting off of objects that are approaching you at nearly c. You measure light rays to travel at c. Someone standing stationary on the ground measures the light rays to travel at c. Everyone measures light rays to travel at c. That is what it means to be constant.
- Q: In a car.
- And we are supposed to know what car you have. Interior( inside the car) dome lights and maybe lights in the doors and under the dash.BTW , maybe your car does not even have them
