Product Overview
The comprehensive technical performance and economic indicator of PP-R are much better than galvanized pipe, UPVC pipe, polyethylene-aluminum compound pipe, PE-X (cross-linked polyethylene) and polybutylene pipe etc. For this reason PP-R is the leading products and widely used for feed-water piping in developed countries in Europe and America.
Nowadays PPR pipes win more attention and have been used all over the whole world more widely with its excellent sanitization performance, high heat resistance, compression resistance, corrosion resistance, pliability and seismic performance which make PP-R the real environmental friendly pipe

- Q: The dishwasher behind my bar at work has a leak. The pipe that's leaking is Parker Parflex PP 3/8 plastic tubing that connects into a metal nut and brings clean water in. The pipe has a leak exactly where it meets the nut, so in theory I could cut off the cracked portion and then re-seal it to the nut. Can I cut it with wire cutters? Should it be sanded after I cut it? Do I use a teflon sealant? Thanks for any help!
- That should be a compression fitting. If it's a brass fitting then they are one time use. You can get a new brass fitting, cut the PP tube clean with a knife or a razor blade - be careful not to cut yourself please, then install the nut over the tube, slip the compression ring over the tube and if there's an insert that goes inside the PP, insert that. Then push the hose into the fitting and slide the nut and ring to the threaded portion of the fitting and tighten it. Be careful to tighten it enough to seal but not so tight you cut through the pipe again. It's likely the reason you have the leak in the first place is because someone overtightened it. OR you can simply buy a replacement hose. I'd prefer a wire braid shielded pipe. Stronger and made with a professional fitting on the end, one you don't have to mess with. My opinion, replacing the tube is the better idea. And they're not stupidly expensive either. Good luck with your project. '')
- Q: Do not pipe plastic pipe connection
- You can go to the building materials store to buy the same size as the plastic pipe elbow or joint.
- Q: Can plastic tubes be used for storing paints or coatings?
- Yes, plastic tubes can be used for storing paints or coatings. They are often made from durable materials such as polyethylene or polypropylene which can effectively contain and preserve the paint or coating. Additionally, plastic tubes are lightweight, easy to use, and can be tightly sealed to prevent air or moisture from entering and damaging the contents. However, it is important to ensure that the plastic is compatible with the specific type of paint or coating being stored to avoid any chemical reactions or degradation.
- Q: What are the applications of plastic tubes in the medical field?
- Plastic tubes have various applications in the medical field, including serving as catheters for drainage or delivery of fluids, as well as for administering medications, blood transfusions, or intravenous therapies. They are also used in endotracheal tubes for airway management, feeding tubes for nutritional support, and surgical drains for fluid removal. Additionally, plastic tubes are employed in medical devices such as dialysis machines, ventilators, and even in prosthetics.
- Q: Plastic pipe leakage can use plugging Ling?
- The safest solution is to replace the leaking fittings. Off valve, drain, with PPR scissors cut Water Leakage parts of pipeline, PPR soup machine, with a direct it. The process is uncomplicated and the skilled worker will be able to solve it in 30 minutes.
- Q: i finally bought a new faucet, and changed it. it seems that there is no more leaking from the faucet.but now, it seems that there is some water leaking right under that white plastic screw. around the plastic looking tube. inside of it, there is a dark rubber kind of ring around it. i can't take out the white plastic screw (i don't know the those special names.) otherwise, i will just put some plastic tape, and seal it. that shouldn't be so hard. so my question is 1. what do you recommend? should i buy a new tube? or is there any other way to fix this thing?extra question.2. the new faucet has the top iron thing and a black plastic base. i put the plumb's putty on the edge of top and bottom of the black plastic base. i am thinking what if there are some water leaking inside of the faucet, if i sealed the whole plastic base, the water will accumulate inside of it. did i do the right thing at all?
- Looks like the plastic connector has a duff washer in it. It will keep weeping and its annoying. PTFE plastic tape may assist but to be fair id do this: Remove the tube and make sure the threaded brass tail of the tap is flat and smooth wioth no burrs. Second, make sure the threads on the tube arent frayed or have been cross threaded so it goes on slightly crooked. third, make sure the black rubber washer in the tube connector end isnt twisted, split or slipping inside the tail when tightened up fully (common with some makes) fourth, make sure you havent overtightened it, this can cause the above. fifth, where the white plastic braded tube meets the shiny metal crimp section (before the white plasic) it can sometimes fail. Manufaturing fault but not uncommon. Done worry about your question 2. Its 99% question 1. Plumbing and heating engineer for 12 years - a little tip - if you have to force it, your probably doing it wrong. Its a good motto for plumbing.... and in life!!! Yeah baby! Good luck
- Q: Are plastic tubes suitable for use in the mining industry?
- Yes, plastic tubes are suitable for use in the mining industry. They offer several advantages such as being lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and easy to install. Plastic tubes are commonly used for conveying water, chemicals, and other materials in mining operations.
- Q: How does groundwater flow into a well pipe? It was a small bore well, made of plastic tubing
- The plastic pipe is directly connected to the pump pressure head or above it, this kind of wells are put under the sealed pipe port, making porous tubes for drainage pipe plastic mesh winding tube, prevent the sediment being pumped out through the filter into the groundwater is pumped out.
- Q: Can anybody tell me what the plastic tubes/lines are that run along the under body of my 2003 GLI? I was driving down the highway the other day, and a Semi truck dropped a big chunk of ice off of it and I took a shot to my under body. When I got home I checked under neath and notice it dented my fuel filter pretty back and pinched a white plastic hose that was next to the fuel filter. I followed the line and it goes into my rear pass. wheel well. I looked in the owners manual but I can't find anything on these lines that are under there. Some are blue and some are white. Anybody know what it is? I unkinked the hose and everything seems to be running fine, I'm assuming it's some type of vent, maybe for the gas tank, but I've never seen anything like this before, and I'm kind of confused why they would run something like that under the body of a car that sits so low to begin with. I would really like to know what these lines are. Thanks!
- The white ones are usually vacuum lines. Have you tried popping your fuel door or truck with the door switches yet?
- Q: This Saturday I'm going tubing in the Guadalupe River and I'm FREAKING out. I know how to swim but I'm just scared of waterfalls and really rough and tough water. Any information about the rivers currents and the flow will be nice. Also any advise would be greatly appreciated. (The cfs is currently 68 if that is important)
- EXCELLENT tubing on the Guadalupe River in New Braunfels. Rented hard plastic bottom tubes (once you get to the mini rapids, you'll be glad you got the hard bottom to save your butt from pain) to go down this awesome natural lazy river. Rented the tubes from Rockin R Rivers tubes off of Gruene in New Braunfels. So fun. They pick you up at one of two different spots down the river in a caravan, so you don't have to worry about getting back. You can bring a cooler with non trash items, food, and toys. We had a cooler float, drinks, food, and our beach jai alai game It was just across the river from the bed n breakfast we stayed at. The Gruene Hotel. And right next to the fantastic restaurant Gristmill River Restaurant Bar
