There's a small canister for the ice cream to sit in and it goes into a larger canister where the ice and salt sit. A crank turns the ice cream canister inside the larger one and the salt and ice freeze the ice cream. We have one and it works great! Just takes a little elbow grease. Q: I got my wisdom teeth (all 4) cut out this weekend and am still on loritabs every 4-6 hours for pain. What I would do, if possible, is try to find a replacement so that they won't be left shorthanded, that way the employer knows you at least tried. If you were a good employee the whole time you worked there, then not coming on the last day (for a legitimate and verifiable reason) shouldn't be an issue.
