- Sorry man you have ruined your carpet. As a few other folks have mentioned you ''should'' have contacted an IICRC certified carpet cleaner. Bleach never stops oxidizing until you neutralize it. You can contact a qualified hot water extraction carpet cleaner (IICRC is a Professional association that indicates they know what they are doing) to see if they might be able to make it livable. By the way its a cleaning wand not a magic wand, they will only be able to do so much.

- Q:After two weeks I am filling up my bagless vacuum cleaner compartment with carpet fibers. It's not the loop that is coming out it's fiber. You can also take the toe of a rubber soled shoe and scrape it across the carpet and get the same results. Is this normal for this carpet? - I have no clue what brand the carpet i had installed a year ago, is, but it shed quite a bit during the first few days....these were definetly carpet fibers...maybe they were left behind from all the cutting the installers did...im not sure, but they were gone after a few vacuumings, and the carpet is holding up well

A prayer rug is optional and usually just makes the first and second rule easier to follow. You'll only place it towards the qibla (most have a compass on them) and you'll only stand on it with wudu so it's almost always clean. You can also place a prayer mat on an unclean/suspect surface to make it pak in most cases.
