1. Structure of Safety Valve Description
Hydraulic Surface Safety Valve - SSV is designed to quick closure due to a pipe leak or burst, equipment malfunction, fire, or similar emergency. The Surface safety valve (ssv) is normally closed, pressure needs to be applied to the actuator to compress the spring and open the valve.

- Q:I keep the tire pressure in my tires at approx 40 lbs per tire. I have an inexpensive tire gauge that I use to measure the pressure. Recently, one tire seemed low, so I measured the pressure and the batteries were dead in the tire gauge. I replaced them and measured again.It said 20.5! I thought I was going crazy, but then measured all the other tires and they were around 35 to 40. I filled up all the tires to about 40, but when I measured the weird one again, it said only 30!The question is, could there be a problem with the tire valve that is preventing me from getting a good measure of the pressure? I filled up the tire to where it looks really filled up, and I'm afraid to overfill it. I'd like to get it to 40 lbs but I don't know if it's already gt; 40 lbs with a tire valve problem. Or if a tire that's at 20 pounds can look so filled up that you couldn't tell it from a tire that's at 40 pounds?Any info would be appreciated.
- you dont have to take it to a mechanic for a tire problem. take it to any tire place.. les schwab, cooper, anyplace that does tires... have them replace the valve and clean up the bead on the rim. It should only take 20 minutes and cost maybe $5.

Secondly you will have to find the actuators under dash on the heater box and make sure they are moving if not ck for vacuum.......

- A double solenoid has two solenoids, and when voltage is supplied to one (and not the other) the valve shifts. Note that if voltage is supplied to both solenoids at the same time, the valve will stay in the position is was in (i.e. it won't shift since the solenoids will be working against each other). This is typically not desired, so make sure you remove voltage from one side when supplying it to the other. If no voltage is supplied to either solenoid, the result will be the same as if voltage is supplied to both, in that the valve will stay in the position is was in. What this means is that the cylinder has no home position, so when power is cut, the valve will stay where it was at that time, and the cylinder will continue to do work in the direction is was working in. Again, depending upon what the cylinder was doing, this may or may not be desired. For Conrolling with PLC you may need to wire two discrete outputs of PLC to those two solenoids using relay. And the ON/OFF those two outputs as required.

- you need to be more specific. there are 100 things on a car that could be called a suction valve. Right off the top of my head the only valve that could do that is a EGR valve. If it gets stuck open the car will stall, but it will start back up after the valve closes again. The OBD will tell you if the EGR valve is bad, but other than that I can't say.

- Hydrocarbons are caused by an incomplete burn in the cylinder on the power stroke. An EGR can possibly be the problem, but so could a bunch of other things. I suggest taking it to a good shop and let them figure out what is wrong. If you guess, you could literally spend hundreds of dollars on things for your engine that won't make any difference at all. Look for ASE certified shop is the best.

- There is really no such thing as has to but there is a thing as ought to. You should put good used heads in a machine shop for a clean up and restoration. The worse they are, the more they need new seats, seals, guide clean up with new valves, surfacing and so on.
