- Q:ok i just bought a 1994 silverado and i want to install some headers and some exhaust. My plans are to put true duals, two flowmaster 40‘s and some headers but the headers dont know what brand yet,,also it doesnt have any catalytic converters its the most important i DONT want it to make like a crakling sound when at wide open throttle i want it to make just a deep sound and not the crackling sound or will it be better to put high performance catalytic converters if yes what brand

- You can ask for a large raw beef bone from your butcher. Its healthy for him, and I doubt that he'd chew that to pieces. If he does, you have a super dog. Just give it to him the way the butcher gives it to you. Don't cook it. Cooked bones are not good for dogs and puppies.

- First off your engine will not run with 1 14 inch exhaust tubing. To be of any benefit you need at least 3 or better in dia. tubing. Secondly it is illegal in the United States for any one to alter your exhaust system between the engine and cat. converter. Especially in California where they do emission tests. If you seriously want to improve your exhaust system you need to contact TTI exhaust systems. They will bring you up to date on what you can and can not do and how far you can go and still be legal.
- Q:Hi, I have a 1994 Buick Skylark Limited. The exhaust/Muffler/system hasn‘t been changed yet for the most part. Over the past 5 months, the car has been getting louder, and running worse. Some things that happen is that the Car‘s Idle is Real Rough and unstable, the car will randomly Stall, and the muffler is quite loud. It also takes around 3 seconds of holding the ignition turned to keep the car on. When I come to a stop or slow down near stop lights, it bogs. The car also has a hard time Accelerating now.Most of the time I use the car, it‘s short trips less than 10 miles. It sits outside, and it was a harsh winter. This problem has been getting worse over the last 5 or so months, and it‘s at the point where I need something looked at.Does this sound like a specific problem with the exhaust system, Do i need to change the whole system, or only one or 2 parts ?Thanks to who replies
- Try a complete tune-up, and have your catalytic converter checked, it may be clogged if the exhaust is that old.
- Q:If its just all about relieving back pressure why can‘t someone design a system that is as quiet, or nearly as stock? Is it really out performing oem or does all that noise fool you into thinking your going faster. Sometimes it seems like little boys with the playing cards in the spokes on the bicycle. after all the power is made on the inside of an engine is‘nt it?
- If my kids were there, them first, of course. Since I live alone, I would go for photos and records. Since I am a 9-1-1 supervisor I can tell you to forget all of the above (except your kids) and just get the hell out.

- No. You have single exhaust, that is for dual. You can do dual, but it takes more to make it work than just bolting in a V8 kit.
