Q:I work at a school in South Carolina and we have a Gemini CD player. It stopped working a few days ago and upon looking at it, I saw that the cable that connects it from the CD to the remote control console has been badly damaged. Does anyone where I could buy another one?THANKS!
Radio Shack (take them the old cable if you can)
Q:Attempting to set up Microsoft's Xbox One, help would be nice; Zero instructions came with the box.
What do you mean the Xbox came with no instructions? Take it back to the store then - it's incomplete. It's not that hard. Take a HDMI cable. Connect one end to the HDMI OUTPUT on the Xbox one. Connect the other end to one of the HDMI ports on the TV. If your TV doesn't have a HDMI port, then you need to buy a new HDTV. If you don't have a cable box, or you don't care about using your Xbox to control your cable box, ignore the 2nd HDMI cable.
Q:I just had my cable set up with Charter yesterday and I just sat down to watch TV and the parental controls are on lots of channels but the thing is I never set them up or turned them on. It asks me to enter my PIN # to disable them but I have no PIN because I never set it up! Can someone please help me? It's very strange because channels that were not blocked earlier this evening like FX, THIS, Cartoon Network and other channels all have been blocked due to ratings. I just want to know if there's a way to reset it? Like a forgot my password thing? Ugh, please help!
Charter Parental Controls
Q:I have a Samsung 37 inch LCD TV that only has one RF jack on the back for coaxial. Right now, my Charter cable receiver (digital, standard) is going to it. I have an indoor antenna to pull in the OTA HD channels. I've heard that I would need a A/B switch (Radio Shack has a remote control one) to make it work. The only other jacks on the back of the cable receiver are yellow, red and white. Can I use those instead for the cable?
No! That is composite video and audio and is a totally different signal than the RF. Run the Charter output into one side of the A/B switch and the antenna in the other side and then take the output to your TV. Use only RG6 cables which you can get many places.
Q:And if they don't, then why is cable TV censored? If people are paying for it and the FCC has no control, then shouldn't basic cable be allowed to feature nudity and profanity?
Uh ever hear of the Playboy Channel??
Q:I have a 2000 ford focus zts, and the cable, cord, whatever its called, for the cruise control is unattached. Does anyone know where its suppose to be attached?
It depends on what cable it is. Check to see you're missing the cable on the throttle body which connects to the cruise control module
Q:Both my new laptop and less than 30 day old netbook, have issues whenever I use the internet at home (ethernet cable-no wifi). But whenever I use public wifi for hours at a time, both are fine. I haven't used my laptop all day, it doesn't want to connect. I've restarted it and still nothing. What should I do?
Control Panel Network and Sharing Center Change adapter settings select Local Area Connection and check whether it is enabled. If disabled enable it. if it doesn't work, try to change your ethernet cable.
Q:Cable YJV-VV-4 * 240 + 1 * 120 / 1KV What does it mean?
33 provides: substation cable sandwich should be set up hanging gas automatic fire extinguishing device The cable sandwich fire, also need to install the temperature cable One of the fire protection measures of the cable sandwich is to install the temperature sensing cable Temperature sensing cable is a relatively special fire detector, compared with other fire detectors, it is more suitable for installation in the cable sandwich to prevent the occurrence of fire So the cable sandwich fire, do not forget to install the temperature cable
Q:i have comcast. i have the silver remote with the white, grey, and red buttons.i pressed on the 'info' button, and now i cant switch channels. the only button that work are the mute and the volume buttons. iv tried every button to try and fix it, but its not working.help please!!
You changed the input button. this is what you do. when your tv is on, press the cable button on the very top. That will let you change the channel. That happened because when you press the cable button, it lets you control the cable box. If you press the tv button, it controls the TV, not the cable. If you press the aux button, it controls the sound for surround sound. So next time you cant change channels, press the cable button on the top.
Q:I am looking into buying a VGA Cable to go from my computer to my HDTV. I want one that will not mess up the signal and have a very nice picture. There are different display modes for the one I am looking at. There is the SXGA which displays at 1280x1024 and the UXGA which displays at 1600x1200. Is there a difference in which i buy? There is also a XGA which displays at 1024x768. Do I need to buy a certain one? thanks for your help!!!!!
the reason long cables are not made is with the help of the fact they don't artwork. for that variety of distance you prefer a KVM (keyboard,Video,Mouse) adaptor that converts analog VGA to digital video and the finished digital archives despatched by potential of Cat5 community cable. on the different end is yet another field that converts it returned to person aspects returned.
