ZWL  FLASH SETTING ADMIXTURE

Applications

ZWL flash setting admixture is used in railway or road tunnels, metallurgy, coal, mine workings and chamber, and hydropower projects, military, civil air defense and other underground works.

ZWL flash setting admixture is used in sprayed concrete or sprayed mortar supports.

ZWL flash setting admixture is suit for concrete with the requirements of rapid hardening, flash setting.

Mixed with this product, with a quick setting effect.

Properties

(1) A kind of aluminate admixture, non-toxic, odorless, non-flammable, low-alkali, and free steel-corrosion effect.

(2) Excellent flash setting ability.

(3) Enhance viscosity, workability, increase concrete thickness of one jet, and reduce rebound quantity.

(4) A micro-shrinkage compensating functions. ZWL flash setting admixture can effectively prevent crack after injection molding.

Dosage

ZWL flash setting admixture is supplied as powder or aqueous colorless to buff liquid. For powder ZWL and liquid ZWL, the dosage is typically 3.0%~8.0% and 3.0%~5.0% respectively, by mass of cement.

The amount of ZWL flash setting admixture used in concrete will be slightly adjusted depending upon cement type, temperature and construction requirement. Experiments for appropriate dosage must be carried out when changing concrete mix proportion or materials.

Usage

Liquid ZWL flash setting admixture should be added together with mixing water, deduct moisture content of liquid ZWL flash setting admixture from total mixing water.Powder ZWL flash setting admixture can be added in concrete directly with longer mixing time.

Fresh cement is necessary. Experiment must be done when ZWL flash setting admixture is used together with other admixtures.

For powder ZWL flash setting admixture, use up after unpacking or keep waterproof.

Packaging, transport and storage

(1) Powder ZWL flash setting admixture is available in 25kg film-lined bags. Liquid ZWL flash setting admixture is available in sealed plastic drums. Other special package can also be available according to prior consultation.

(2) Special measures should be taken to ensure entire package. Keep waterproof during transportation.

(3) Dry and well ventilated warehouse is needed for storage. Quality guarantee of ZWL flash setting admixture is five months under normal conditions. If storage has surpassed the time, test must be done to confirm the validity.

Health and safety

(1) Once splashed into eyes and skin, wash immediately with plenty of water and seek medical treatment.

(2) Inedible. When eating by mistake, drink sufficient water to urge to vomiting, and then go to hospital.

(3) No littering. Caution should be taken to protect environment.
