Applications

ZWL concrete densifier is used in waterproof projects in subway, culvert, tunnel, civil air defense, underground.

ZWL concrete densifier can be used in waterproof projects of industrial and civil buildings in roof, floor, kitchen, bathroom, basement, underground warehouse.

ZWL concrete densifier is suit for concrete base, concrete pier with the requirements of good compaction, low permeability.

Properties

(1) A kind of compound with sulfur and silicon based on the mechanism of concrete structure self-waterproof.

(2) Non-toxic, odorless, non-flammable, pollution-free, and free steel-corrosion effect.

(3) Soluble.

(4) ZWL concrete densifier can reduce porosity; greatly improve compaction and impermeability of concrete.

(5) Improve durability, reduce shrinkage.

(6) Excellent compatibility with other admixtures.

(7) Excellent compatibility with Portland cement.

Dosage

ZWL concrete densifier is supplied as aqueous orange transparent liquid. The dosage of ZWL concrete densifier is typically 0.2%~0.3% by the mass of cementitious materials.

The amount of ZWL concrete densifier used in concrete will be slightly adjusted depending upon job requirements, such as concrete strength, variations in cement, aggregate and other job site conditions. Experiments for appropriate dosage must be carried out when changing concrete mix proportion or materials.

Usage

ZWL concrete densifier is ready-to-use as received.

Mix uniformly in advance if exists turbidity or a small amount of precipitation.

Experiment must be done when ZWL is used together with other admixtures.

Packaging, transport and storage

(1) ZWL concrete densifier is available in sealed plastic or iron drums. Other special package can also be available according to prior consultation.

(2) Dry and well ventilated warehouse is needed for storage. Quality guarantee of ZWL concrete densifier is three years under normal conditions. If storage has surpassed the time, test must be done to confirm the validity.

Health and safety

(1) Once splashed into eyes and skin, wash immediately with plenty of water and seek medical treatment.

(2) Inedible. When eating by mistake, drink sufficient water to urge to vomiting, and then go to hospital.

(3) No littering. Caution should be taken to protect environment.
