TC4807 FAQ

Q: What is the meaning of the tower crane’s code?

A: Take TC5013 for example, the first two letters “TC” means Tower Crane, “50” means jib length is 50 meter, and the last two letter “13” means the tip load is :1.3 ton.

Q: What is the principal to quote the right tower crane to the client?

A: First, we need to know clients’ requirements. Normally the following information should be clarified by the client:  max lifting capacity, height (height under hook), tip load and jib length.

Second, we need to know what the foundation requirement from the client is. (Fixed/ undercarriage/ undercarriage with traveling system), mast section type (panel/ integrated), power supply source (voltage, ampere and frequency), the distance between the machine and power supply……

Third if there are special needs, CNBM and GIT could suggest proposal according to clear data provided by the clients. End-user, as construction machinery buyer, knows the site situation well and should make decision, such as the machinery specification, type…….

Q: What does Canada trade to Norway? Norway gives us minerals and machinery, but what do we trade them? HELP!!?
Canadian exports to Norway consist mainly of primary products, namely ore mattes and concentrates. Exports of machinery and aircraft and aircraft parts are also significant. Norwegian exports to Canada include petroleum, machinery, fish and seafood, and metals.
Q: is a machinist, and someone who plays the piano is a pianist, is someone who races cars a racist?
C'mon Demond, don't take things so seriously. That was obviously a joke, and not a bad one at that. :-)
Q: The DNA replication machinery is assembled at the replication fork. A. True B False
A.True
Q: I'm thinking about making something out of wood but I dont have any machinery to do it, all I have Is a saw and a couple knives but that's it. Any ideas?
tooth pick.
Q: I am looking for providers of machinery for manufacturing of pressed wood?
For which country? The question is a bit vague. Why don't you search the net for suppliers in your area. You're definitely not going to get answers in here. Good luck.
Q: television shows that introduce how something is made (like.. how hershey's kisses are made) always take you to a plant and there are so many intricate machines that bottle, wrap, shake, measure, cut, separate.. etc. are they all custom manufacturing machines? from where do companies get them? and how can a small business owner find/ afford one?i'm not necessarily asking about machines used in the food industry -- any answers are welcomed! i can provide further details if necessary. i know my question may be a little vague.
You need to do a simple cost benefit analysis to see if a big machine is worth the cost. I will almost guarantee you that a small business cannot justify the purchase. That's why small businesses do everything by hand. The automated machines you see are typically custom made machines from specialty manufacturer's. You can find some on the web fairly easily.
Q: What do you do during shore duty?Which one would you say has the best outlook for an 20+ year career? Are these the hardest working jobs on the boat?
I have served with each of these. Shore duty tends to be in factories alongside a pier. They are called: Intermediate Maintenance and Repair Facilities. Basically machine shops that rebuild valves. However I know one guy that was on a boat with me who got orders to NAS Fallon Nevada to be in charge of their go-cart course. They needed a EN to keep the go-carts running. The needs of the Navy change every month. To say which rate with advance the fastest is a guess. It changes all the time. If you stay out of trouble, you can serve for 20 years and get a pension. Anyone who guarantees you that by doing 'X' will make you a chief, is lying. They all work hard. And they are each highly valued jobs, with good job prospects when you get out. I would recommend that you consider subs too. The extra pay does not hurt.
Q: I am searching for a career path that would involve my interests which are dirt biks, atv's and working on machinery. I would like to make at least $50,000 a year.
Unfortunately dirt and ATV machines are not owned by what you would call, folks with deep pockets. They are not necessities and when they break they usually get tossed aside or repaired on the cheap. There are particular marques and types of motorbikes that owners do lavish money on freely. BMW repairs command a decent price as do mods to many Touring or high performance road going bikes. Just for a mechanic to open and asses a BMW transmission runs over $200. That's just to give it a look. Get enrolled in a formal motorcycle mechanics course and also take some business management instruction. Your path will become clear...OMmmmm.
Q: ...a computer or machinery?
Interesting. I would call it computer since it is all solid state devices on a circuit board with no moving parts. It is digital right? As a pc engineer digital implies that it uses 1 and 0 to make its decisions, true or false, on or off... Which is the heart of the true language of a computer. Just my humble opinion.
Q: A certain piece of machinery was purchased 5 yr ago by Garland Mills for $470,000. Its present resale value is $280,000. Assuming that the machine's resale value decreases exponentially, what will it be 3 yr from now? $___________.thanks
decreases exponentially: A_t = A_0 e^(kt) A_0 = original value A_t = value at time t t = time elapsed from original value k = coefficient of growth/decay (or something like that) e = 2.718... using time, your original value, and current value, find k. from there, find A_t three more years down the road. units don't matter as long as they're consistent. and, your answer should make sense according to the context; i.e. less than $280000. hope this helps
