- Q:Hi, I am a novice when it comes to electrical work but I don't want to spend $100 plus dollars for installation. I currently have old smoke detector and I want to replace it with a new smoke detector that came with a wire harness. I know you just match the colors- white to white and black to black. I turned off the main power and removed the old detector.I then removed the wire nuts that hold the wire together. After removing the wire nut on the black wires I noticed that the tips were fused together there was no way to remove it with my hand. So can I just cut above the wire to separate the wires and then strip the wires and reconnect with the wire nut? Do I need a special tool to cut the wire or can I just use normal scissors to cut through the wire?

- Excavate out the pointy bits or rough material and use a play sand or brick sand bed for your liner. If you have 2 inches or more of play or brick sand, you'll be fine. You WANT a sand bottom. Not a hard concrete or brick one. That's just harder on feet and increases your chances of a nick in the liner. Crusher rock is commonly also called limestone screening. That's absolutely taboo for a vinyl pool. Your liner is at most a 25 mil one. You'll hole it the second someone puts their foot down. The softer and finer bottom you have the longer your liner will last. Harder bottom is NOT good. Drop something capable of reaching the bottom and it impacts it with sufficient forceyou now have a hole. Hard bottom, soft liner..it doesn't take much. Bricks or solid concrete bottom?? Who would do such lunacy? Even an inground vinyl pool with a concrete shell has a top coat of vermiculite/portland/sand mix. That vermic is there as a shock absorber.

- If the crushers have had an extremely easy szedule, it'll be close.16th in pass yards is 111,2nd is 700? Bombers will pass on em decently and if the crushers opponents have been weak on off and def, the crushers cant stop the air game. Run game I'd put at even. Defensively, the bombers can stop the crushers high powered rushing. I don't know how lax the crushers schedule has been in comparison, but if it's teams half as good as bombers, I'd honestly take the bombers. Crushers got no air game, decent run(depending on previous opponents) and a horrible pass D. Bombers just gotta keep the run D on game and can run and easily throw on em. I'd go with the bombers. If they're 6-1 with an average/difficult schedule, they are a good team on off running, and def all around
- Q:I was wondering about how much safety gear you usually wear and what type of riding you do. For example: I ride mountain bike. I used to not wear a helmet, but the day I decided to wear one, I went home with a hole in it. Went over the bars and had a fist sized rock stuck in it. I am convinced that it saved my life.
