Solar street lights are an efficient means to provide lighting with no utility lines. They provide cost savings by eliminating the need to trench wires and the recurring cost of power bills after installation. Solar street lights have been installed on highways, freeways, neighborhood streets, rural roads, etc. and provide security, sustainability and an overall green image.

Every solar street light comes with a self-contained solar power assembly that is sized to run the fixture per the needs of the customer. Each power assembly is sized by the lamp power consumption times the number of hours of operation and how much sun is provided in each geographic area to provide adequate autonomy. The power assembly is mounted at the top of the pole, typically above the fixture(s). See our Solar Power Systems section for additional information and specifications.

Various style fixtures are available from standard Cobrahead fixtures to decorative style fixtures. They can provide the needed lighting levels and distribution patterns to provide the perfect lighting solution. See our Solar Light Fixture section for all fixture choices and specifications.

The SP side of pole upsweep tapered elliptical mounting bracket comes in 4’, 6’ and 8’ lengths and features a 24” rise. The ST side of pole tenon bracket provides a 2 3/8” straight tenon pipe for horizontal size of pole mounting in 5” or 24” lengths. Decorative fixture brackets can also be provided for decorative style fixtures.

Solar street light system is an ideal application for campus and village street lighting. The system is provided with battery storage backup sufficient to operate the light for 10-11 hours daily. Automatic ON/OFF time switch for dusk to down operation and overcharge / deep discharge prevention cut-off are provided with LED indicators. Easy Photovoltech's solar street lightening systems require low maintenance, have longer life and provide better performance. We manufacture and supply two types of solar street light i.e. solar LED street lights, solar CFL street light.

Only A-brand quality mono- and poly- crystalline silicon solar panels with high efficiency and long lifetime are used.High Lumen LED modules for maximum efficacy. Dedicated designed low-voltage solar controller technology with dimming capabilities for power-save management. Lifetime > 50,000 hrs and CRI nominal 70.Highly efficient controller to charge your batteries and intelligent microprocessor controlled algorithms for light management ensure maximum uptime.Specific deep discharge batteries are used to store the energy, provide energy for immediate requirements, and enable a back-up for days when there is little or no sun.Microprocessor managed algorithms autonomously determine sunrise and sunset.

Q:Can solar lights be used in commercial settings?
Yes, solar lights can be used in commercial settings. They are a cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution for outdoor lighting in commercial properties such as parking lots, pathways, and signage. Solar lights can provide adequate illumination and reduce energy costs while also promoting sustainability.
Q:Can solar lights be used for public transportation stops?
Yes, solar lights can be used for public transportation stops. Solar lights are a sustainable and cost-effective solution for lighting public spaces, including transportation stops. They are powered by solar energy, which is a renewable source, making it an environmentally friendly option. Solar lights are also easy to install and require minimal maintenance, making them suitable for public transportation stops where regular electricity supply may not be available or feasible. Additionally, solar lights can enhance safety and security by providing adequate lighting for passengers waiting at transportation stops, especially during the evening or night hours. By using solar lights for public transportation stops, cities and communities can reduce their carbon footprint, save energy costs, and promote sustainable practices.
Q:Are solar lights resistant to damage from falling debris?
Yes, solar lights are generally resistant to damage from falling debris. Most solar lights are designed to be durable and weather-resistant, which includes being able to withstand minor impacts from falling debris. However, the level of resistance may vary depending on the specific design and quality of the solar light. It is important to choose solar lights that are made from high-quality materials and have a sturdy construction to ensure better resistance against damage from falling debris. Additionally, it is recommended to install solar lights in areas where there is minimal risk of large or heavy debris falling directly onto the lights to further reduce the chances of damage.
Q:How do solar lights handle electromagnetic interference or radio frequencies?
Solar lights are generally immune to electromagnetic interference or radio frequencies due to their lack of electronic components that can be affected by interference. Instead of relying on vulnerable parts, solar lights convert sunlight into electrical energy using photovoltaic cells. This energy is then stored in a battery for future use, powering the LED lights. Unlike devices with complex circuitry or antennas, solar lights are not susceptible to electromagnetic or radio frequency interference. As a result, they can operate reliably in different environments without any interference concerns.
Q:Are there solar lights for bicycles or motorcycles?
Yes, there are solar lights available for bicycles and motorcycles. These lights are designed to be powered by solar energy, making them a sustainable and convenient option for enhancing visibility and safety while riding.
Q:Can solar lights be used for indoor plants or greenhouses?
Yes, solar lights can be used for indoor plants or greenhouses. Solar lights are versatile and can be used to provide supplemental lighting for plants that may not receive enough natural sunlight. They can be particularly useful in areas with limited access to electricity or where energy efficiency is a priority. However, it is important to note that the intensity and spectrum of light provided by solar lights may not be sufficient for all types of plants. Some plants may require specific light wavelengths, such as red and blue light, for optimal growth. In such cases, it may be necessary to use specialized grow lights in addition to or instead of solar lights.
Q:Can solar lights be used in conjunction with other renewable energy sources?
Yes, solar lights can definitely be used in conjunction with other renewable energy sources. In fact, integrating solar lights with other sources such as wind or hydro energy can provide a more reliable and sustainable lighting solution. This combination allows for greater energy generation and storage options, ensuring uninterrupted lighting even during periods of low sunlight.
Q:Can solar lights be used for outdoor markets or food stalls?
Yes, solar lights can be used for outdoor markets or food stalls. They are a sustainable and cost-effective lighting solution that can provide illumination during evening hours without the need for electricity. This makes them ideal for outdoor settings where access to power sources may be limited. Additionally, solar lights are easy to install, require minimal maintenance, and can enhance the visibility and safety of outdoor markets or food stalls after dark.
Q:Are solar lights compatible with existing outdoor lighting systems?
Yes, solar lights are compatible with existing outdoor lighting systems. Solar lights are designed to be easily installed and can be used as an alternative or in addition to traditional electric lighting. They do not require any electrical wiring or connections, as they are powered by sunlight. This makes them a convenient and cost-effective option for outdoor lighting. Solar lights can be placed in any location that receives adequate sunlight during the day, allowing them to charge and provide illumination during the night. They can be easily integrated into existing outdoor lighting systems by simply replacing or adding solar-powered fixtures. Additionally, solar lights are energy-efficient and environmentally friendly, as they do not rely on electricity from the grid, reducing your carbon footprint. Whether you want to enhance the existing lighting system or create a new one, solar lights offer a versatile and compatible solution.
Q:Are solar lights compatible with smart home systems?
Yes, solar lights can be compatible with smart home systems. Many solar lights now come equipped with built-in sensors and wireless connectivity, allowing them to seamlessly integrate with various smart home platforms. This enables users to control and automate their solar lights through voice commands, smartphone apps, or even as part of a larger smart home ecosystem.
