Solar street lights are an efficient means to provide lighting with no utility lines. They provide cost savings by eliminating the need to trench wires and the recurring cost of power bills after installation. Solar street lights have been installed on highways, freeways, neighborhood streets, rural roads, etc. and provide security, sustainability and an overall green image.

Every solar street light comes with a self-contained solar power assembly that is sized to run the fixture per the needs of the customer. Each power assembly is sized by the lamp power consumption times the number of hours of operation and how much sun is provided in each geographic area to provide adequate autonomy. The power assembly is mounted at the top of the pole, typically above the fixture(s). See our Solar Power Systems section for additional information and specifications.

Various style fixtures are available from standard Cobrahead fixtures to decorative style fixtures. They can provide the needed lighting levels and distribution patterns to provide the perfect lighting solution. See our Solar Light Fixture section for all fixture choices and specifications.

The SP side of pole upsweep tapered elliptical mounting bracket comes in 4’, 6’ and 8’ lengths and features a 24” rise. The ST side of pole tenon bracket provides a 2 3/8” straight tenon pipe for horizontal size of pole mounting in 5” or 24” lengths. Decorative fixture brackets can also be provided for decorative style fixtures.

Solar street light system is an ideal application for campus and village street lighting. The system is provided with battery storage backup sufficient to operate the light for 10-11 hours daily. Automatic ON/OFF time switch for dusk to down operation and overcharge / deep discharge prevention cut-off are provided with LED indicators. Easy Photovoltech's solar street lightening systems require low maintenance, have longer life and provide better performance. We manufacture and supply two types of solar street light i.e. solar LED street lights, solar CFL street light.

Only A-brand quality mono- and poly- crystalline silicon solar panels with high efficiency and long lifetime are used.High Lumen LED modules for maximum efficacy. Dedicated designed low-voltage solar controller technology with dimming capabilities for power-save management. Lifetime > 50,000 hrs and CRI nominal 70.Highly efficient controller to charge your batteries and intelligent microprocessor controlled algorithms for light management ensure maximum uptime.Specific deep discharge batteries are used to store the energy, provide energy for immediate requirements, and enable a back-up for days when there is little or no sun.Microprocessor managed algorithms autonomously determine sunrise and sunset.

Q: Can solar lights be used in gardens and flowerbeds?
Yes, solar lights can be used in gardens and flowerbeds. They are a popular choice for outdoor lighting in these areas as they are easy to install, require no electrical wiring, and are powered by renewable energy from the sun. Solar lights can add ambiance, highlight garden features, and provide illumination for pathways or flowerbeds at night.
Q: Can solar lights be used for outdoor sculptures or art installations?
Yes, solar lights can be used for outdoor sculptures or art installations. Solar lights are a great eco-friendly option for illuminating outdoor artwork as they harness energy from the sun and do not require any external power source. They can provide a unique and attractive lighting effect, enhancing the visual appeal of sculptures or art installations during nighttime, while being cost-effective and easy to install.
Q: Can solar lights be used for outdoor events?
Yes, solar lights can definitely be used for outdoor events. They are a great alternative to traditional lighting options as they do not require electricity and can be easily installed in any outdoor setting. Solar lights are eco-friendly, cost-effective, and provide a warm and ambient glow, making them perfect for creating a welcoming and festive atmosphere for outdoor events.
Q: How do you choose the right solar light for a specific climate?
When choosing the right solar light for a specific climate, it is important to consider factors such as the amount of sunlight available in the area, the temperature range, and any extreme weather conditions that may occur. Opt for solar lights that are designed to withstand the climate conditions of the region, such as those with high IP ratings for water and dust resistance, and durable materials that can withstand extreme temperatures. Additionally, consider the solar panel efficiency and battery capacity to ensure the light can collect enough energy during shorter daylight periods or cloudy days.
Q: How do solar lights handle power fluctuations caused by appliances?
Solar lights are designed to handle power fluctuations caused by appliances in a couple of ways. Firstly, most solar lights are equipped with a built-in regulator or controller, which helps stabilize the power output. This regulator ensures that the power fluctuations caused by appliances do not impact the performance of the solar lights. It helps maintain a consistent voltage and current flow to the lights, even when there are variations in the incoming power supply. Secondly, solar lights usually come with a battery backup system. This means that during periods of power fluctuations or when appliances are drawing excessive power, the lights can draw power from the battery instead. The battery acts as a buffer, providing a stable power source to the lights, regardless of fluctuations in the main power supply. Furthermore, solar lights often have overcharge and discharge protection mechanisms to safeguard the battery and ensure its longevity. These protections prevent excessive charging or discharging of the battery, which could be caused by power fluctuations. By maintaining optimal battery levels, solar lights can continue to function efficiently even during power fluctuations caused by appliances. In summary, solar lights handle power fluctuations caused by appliances through built-in regulators, battery backup systems, and protective mechanisms. These features ensure that the lights receive stable power supply and are not affected by fluctuations in the main power source, allowing them to provide consistent illumination.
Q: Can solar lights be used for garden pond lighting?
Yes, solar lights can be used for garden pond lighting. They are a popular and energy-efficient option for illuminating outdoor spaces, including garden ponds. Solar lights harness sunlight during the day to charge their batteries, which then power the lights at night. Since garden ponds are typically located in areas with ample sunlight exposure, solar lights are a practical and convenient choice for providing illumination in and around the pond.
Q: Can solar lights be used for signage and billboards?
Yes, solar lights can be used for signage and billboards. Solar-powered lights are a popular and eco-friendly option for illuminating outdoor signs and billboards. They harness energy from the sun during the day and store it in batteries, which power the lights at night. This eliminates the need for traditional electricity sources and reduces energy costs. Additionally, solar lights are easy to install and maintain, making them an efficient solution for lighting up signage and billboards.
Q: Do solar lights require direct access to sunlight?
Yes, solar lights require direct access to sunlight in order to charge and operate effectively. Sunlight is the primary source of energy for solar lights, and they have photovoltaic cells that convert sunlight into electricity. Without direct access to sunlight, the solar panels cannot generate enough power to charge the batteries that store the energy for lighting. While some solar lights may still work in partially shaded areas, they will not perform optimally and may have reduced runtimes. Therefore, it is important to place solar lights in locations where they can receive ample direct sunlight during the day for them to function properly at night.
Q: Are there solar lights with built-in temperature or humidity sensors?
Yes, there are solar lights available in the market that come with built-in temperature and humidity sensors. These sensors allow the lights to adjust their performance and brightness levels based on the surrounding temperature and humidity conditions. This feature ensures optimal functioning and longevity of the solar lights in various weather conditions.
Q: Are there different mounting options for solar lights?
Yes, there are different mounting options available for solar lights. The most common mounting options for solar lights include wall mounts, ground stakes, pole mounts, and fence mounts. Wall mounts are ideal for attaching solar lights to the exterior walls of buildings or fences. Ground stakes are used for inserting solar lights into the ground, making them suitable for illuminating pathways or gardens. Pole mounts are designed to attach solar lights to poles or posts, allowing for higher placement and wider coverage. Fence mounts are specifically designed for mounting solar lights onto fences or railing, providing an effective way to light up outdoor areas. Overall, the different mounting options for solar lights offer flexibility and versatility in choosing the most appropriate installation method based on the specific needs and preferences.
