FAQ

We have organized several common questions for our clients, may help you sincerely:

1.What price for each watt?

It depends on the quantity, delivery date and payment terms,

2.Can you provide the peripheral products of the solar panels, such as the battery, controller, and inverter? If so, can you tell me how do they match each other?

Yes, we can, we have two companies for solar region, one is CNBM International, the other is CNBM engineering Co.

We can provide you not only the solar module but also the off grid solar system, we can also provide you service with on grid plant.

Q: Can solar panels be used to power a public transportation system?
Yes, solar panels can be used to power a public transportation system. By installing solar panels on the roofs of public transportation vehicles or at transportation hubs, the energy generated can be used to charge electric buses or trains. This reduces reliance on fossil fuels and helps to create a more sustainable and environmentally friendly transportation system.
Q: I live in Sacramento, CA, and I need some solar panels for a project fo school. They don't have to be very big......just something that I can use as an example. Thanks!
I did the same thing recently, if you'd really like some free ones then you need to look for those little solar powered lamps that people put in their yards, theyre about 0 inches tall and people sometimes line the paths through their yard with them. Maybe you can find a neighbor who doesn't want theirs anymore, or you could check local dumps for them. They each have a solar panel in the top, and they can be linked together to make more power. Alternatively, you can look on OKorder for a pack of broken solar cells, which still work fine but don't put out quite as much power as they did when they were new. However, they are very cheap. Hope this helps.
Q: The average solar panel produces 0% of the energy that is put into it. What is happening to the other 90%? Is it being reflected or is it being obsorbed by materials that are not a part of the solar cell? Is it possible to one day have near 00% efficient solar cell technology?
Mainly due to reflection (micro-structuring of the surface helps here), incorrect wavelength of the light (the panel is only sensitive to a certain wavelength range) and heating of the panel (due to the incident light/thermal radiation). The remainder is either reflected or absorbed by the cell and re-emitted as heat. Absorption by e.g. the glass panel is slight (a few %), as is absorption/reflection by the necessary surface contacts (again, a few %). Higher efficiency is possible, but brings its own drawbacks (like higher cost). You could now go into two directions: - high efficiency cells/panels with (likely) higher cost and complexity for mounting (like lens or mirror based systems, aka concentrator systems, that increase the light level on the cells in order to increase efficiency) - low cost systems (cheap as dirt) that will allow you to cover every surface of a building, efficiency is less important if you can compensate by a much larger covered area As to the efficiency limit: there is a theoretical limit (from thermodynamics - don't ask me how or why) in the range of 30...40%, depending on which publication you want to believe in.
Q: Mono-crystalline or poly-crystalline solar panel?
All solar photovoltaics drop in efficiencies with higher temperatures but it isn't the 45+ C you have to worry about but rather the heat from the sunlight striking the panels. There are hybrid systems which passes water in pipes attached to the back of the solar panels to cool the panels and preheat the water for solar thermal collectors. The difference between mono-crystalline and poly-crystalline are that mono-crystalline are more efficient and more costly to make.
Q: Can solar panels be installed on churches or religious buildings?
Yes, solar panels can be installed on churches or religious buildings. In fact, many religious institutions have embraced solar energy as a sustainable and cost-effective solution to reduce their carbon footprint and lower energy bills. Installing solar panels on churches not only aligns with their commitment to environmental stewardship but also allows them to set an example for their community by promoting clean energy and sustainability.
Q: Can solar panels be installed on a greenhouse?
Yes, solar panels can be installed on a greenhouse. In fact, it is a common practice to install solar panels on greenhouses to harness the sunlight for both electricity generation and to provide supplemental lighting for the plants inside. This not only helps in reducing energy costs but also promotes sustainable and eco-friendly practices in agriculture.
Q: Do solar panels require direct sunlight to generate electricity?
No, solar panels do not require direct sunlight to generate electricity. They can still generate power even in cloudy or overcast conditions, although the amount of electricity produced may be reduced.
Q: Can solar panels be used for street lighting?
Yes, solar panels can be used for street lighting. Solar panels can generate electricity from sunlight and store it in batteries, which can then power streetlights during the night. This is an eco-friendly and cost-effective solution for street lighting, as it reduces reliance on the electrical grid and helps to conserve energy.
Q: Can solar panels be installed on a shopping mall or retail complex?
Yes, solar panels can be installed on a shopping mall or retail complex. Many shopping malls and retail complexes have large roof spaces that can accommodate solar panels. Installing solar panels on these buildings can help to reduce energy costs, decrease carbon footprint, and demonstrate a commitment to sustainability. Additionally, the solar panels can provide a source of clean and renewable energy to power the operations of the shopping mall or retail complex.
Q: Okay, so I have a science fair coming up soon and I need help with my project. SO - What should I use to demonstrate with the propeller? A toy boat? Plane? And I only have mini solar panels ; so how do I put the solar panels on the toy boat/plane to make the propeller move off of the sun's energy? Thanks. Steps please!
Solar panels produce electricity. To move the propeller you need mechanical motion. An Electric motor converts from electrical to mechanical power. Most Solar Panels produce DC electricity as do batteries so you need a DC motor that is sized to match the Output of your solar panels. For small temporary projects like this I find that hot melt glue is great to assemble parts. Using a voltage meter you can expose your solar panels to a strong light (or one equal to what you expect during your demonstration) and measure the voltage across the terminals. This may help to size the motor. It depends upon the size of your propeller and how it is made. Your three choices are to use it to power an airplane, to power a boat underwater or to power a boat like an air boat. You might also use the air boat concept to make a car. (air car) The air boat might be the simplest to make but you will need a body of water to demonstrate the concept. The air car doesn't have such a requirement.
