Q:a. the economy finally flourished and expanded. b. was repaired and the state banking system created a new level of prosperity. c. quickly collapsed into depression. d. went through all of the above.
D. went through all of the above When Martin Van Buren took over the Presidency from his successor, Andrew Jackson, the nation's financial situation seemed to be going fairly well. Jackson had successfully lowered the national debt to its lowest point since 1791 (a trifle $33,733.05), and the economy seemed to be growing rapidly. Probably the most blame for the panic is placed most often on President Andrew Jackson and his attitude toward the Bank of the United States. Jackson is famous for having opposed the bank, which he not only refused to recharter, but from which he withdrew funds (an act which earned him a congressional censure) in order to promote private banking and a more free economy. Jackson viewed soft money (that is, paper currency which holds no value on its own, but represents some sort of accepted value) in a highly negative light, much preferring banks doing business in hard money (gold or silver currency). As a result of the new power wielded by state banks, and the lack of regulation from a national banking system, the economy did flourish for a time - bank loans skyrocketed, the economy flourished, and foreign nations began investing heavily in the financial opportunities of America. The boom was short lived, however, as inflation increased dramatically as banks printed exorbitant amounts of paper money. This was exacerbated considerably by one of the most controversial aspects of Jackson's economic policy - the issuance of a Specie Circular (or Coinage Act) which was an attempt to protect land speculators in the west from being left with devalued currency in the event of inflation. As a result of this policy, however, the value of paper money began to deflate rapidly, providing the opposite of the intended effect, leaving many holding nearly worthless money.
Q:And that the politicians are just puppets for the bankers.(Like the World Bank and the Federal Reserve)Do you really think it matters who will be elected? The power is in who has the money.
You couldn't be more right. Actually, the power lies in bloodlines as well. But, that's another story for another day. Yes, The World Bank and Fed Reserve are monstrous institutions. What is happening is the control of power is being funneled to the top. Leaving individuals with fewer choices than ever before. The banks are owned by the same people who are, believe it or not, above everybody on the planet. They are even above the President. Bankers and Politicians are all puppets too. They are in place to forsee an agenda that is beyond Congress and The White House. As well, Canada and the U.S. are only vehicles for where the power truly comes from. And that is Britain.
Q:95 v6 3.8 5 speed lost a lot of power and acceleration pulled codes and I have a bad 02 sensor misfire on bank one and Maybe a vacuum leak if I remember correctly but I just replaced the plugs and wires and it's still running bad also it rattles when I crank it up and sometimes at idle. I want my car back! Could it be the o2 sensor or fuel pump maybe?
02 sensor will not cause a misfire, 02 sensor can cause car to burn rich or lean thats it, but most likely you have a bad plug or plug wire. It happens from time to time so pull the plug wires off one at a time. Here is the bet thing to do, while the engine is cold pull the plug wires so that you can move them on or off of the plug then start the engine and use a spark plug wire holder to move the boot off of the spark plug on each plug on the #1 bank when you find the plug that does not change how the motor runs you have found the cylinder thats mis fireing now once you find the right cylinder replace the plug then the wire, if you have two cylinders misfiring then you have crossed two wires going to the plugs and will need to find out which two you crossed. The 02 sensor would show as not working cause you have to cylinders not firring and the 02 sensor can't adjust the computer to lean out the fuel enough so it throws a code for the 02 sensor. Hope this helps and good luck.
Q:can anyone help me understand what 2200 mah means in power banks for iphone means? i like to know if how long would it take to fully charge an iphone with this power please as well as a digital camera thank you!
It is a mostly practical capacity rating, on that you could run a 100ma load for 22 H or so, 200ma for 11H, and so on.
Q:What is the difference between a mobile power and a charge?
The second half of the year the mobile power was officially leapt to the digital stage from the hair to pick up the mobile power English name called the powerbank with the popular called the battery savings bank mobile power as early as 2002 when there is no market concept of intelligent machine or intelligent machine has not yet entered a large number of ordinary
Q:can someone or a company garnish your bank account
No, it's LEVY a bank account, its gaRnish wages (note the R). In theory, yes. But they have to have a court order to do so. And to get that, they have to drag you into court (or try) and argue their case. Even a judgment is only a court recognition of the debt. It does NOT give them the power to seize any of your assets. The only exception is the government (like the IRS). They give you a chance to respond and if you do not, they can enact garnishments or levies (usually the latter).
Q:How did the Federal Bank make the National Government more powerful? List 3 ways?
If you mean the Federal Reserve which is America's central bank then here are some examples 1: Congress has given the Federal Reserve the power to liquidate major banks and buy toxic assets off of the biggest banks balance sheet. 2: The Federal Reserve is printing more money to keep the economy stable. 3: The Federal Reserve has the power to grant lines of credit to central banks across the world so that means central bankers are cooperating on the regulating of markets.
Q:I thought he opposed it and hamilton liked the idea of a bank. what happened to the federal bank when jefferson was under power.
Jefferson continued the basic Hamiltonian programs of the national bank and tariffs.
Q:I bought a power bank of 20000 mah. How much is it converted in Wh watts hour? I can't exceed 100 wh on my plane
20000mAh 20000/1000 20Ah. If the the power bank voltage is 12V. then 20Ah x 12V 240Wh. if your Power bank voltage is 6V, then, 20Ah x 6V 120Wh. if your Power bank voltage is something else
Q:another way to increase power factor without using capacitor bank?
Try this applet: fastbytes /demo/power_plan There are two main types of loads: resistive (incandescent lights, heaters) and inductive (induction motors, fluorescent lights). Resistive loads draw real power (W) from the source. Inductive loads draw real power and inductive reactive power (VAR) from the source. The real power does useful work, such as provide light or create torque to do work. Now, inductive reactive power is required for the loads to work (ex. creates magnetic field for induction motors), but it increases the current the source must provide. Fortunately, capacitive reactive power is opposite in polarity than inductive reactive power. Simply stated, when an inductor AND a capacitor are in a circuit, the capacitor acts a source and provides reactive power to the inductor, which decreases the reactive power the source must provide. This is power factor correction. We can achieve it with capacitor banks (VAR) or over-excited synchronous motors (W VAR) or synchronous condensers (synchronous motors driving no loads) (VAR). If no inductive loads are on, then capacitive loads draw reactive power from the source. This does nothing useful, so capacitive loads are typically activated when inductive loads are on. Play with the applet and you should see how different loads effect the source. The goal is to have MEGAVARS at 0. To answer your question. There are no inductive banks in industry, since they would waste power. Good luck
