- Q: Roughly how much would it cost for these ingredients. I‘m thinking about making my own soil mixture. This is what the recipe calls for:5 parts partially composted pine bark fines1 part sphagnum peat moss1-2 parts perlitedolomite lime (level tablespoon per gallon, or 1/2 cup per cubic foot)Controlled release fertilizerMicronutrient powder Thank you.
- Harbor Freight has cheap motorcycle wheel balancers , use split shot fishing sinkers on spokes or flat glue on mag wheel weights. Or you can find 4 roller bearings at a sale, mount two close together on 2 ea pieces of angle iron and mount the angle iron pieces to wood, homemade support and you have a cheap balancer, been using one for years.
- Q: i‘ve seen it before but cant remember what its called
- 4 types may be what you are looking for, coquina, pisolitic limestone, oolite, or fossiliferous limestone. Coquina is mainly composed of mineral calcite, often including some phosphate, in the form of seashells or coral. Oolite (egg stone) is a sedimentary rock formed from ooids, spherical grains composed of concentric layers.Ooids are most commonly composed of calcium carbonate (calcite or aragonite), but can be composed of phosphate, chert, dolomite or iron minerals, including hematite. Dolomitic and chert ooids are most likely the result of the replacement of the original texture in limestone. Pisolitic Limestone Pisolitic limestone is white or yellowish brown. Its texture is made interesting by pisolites, spherical bodies over 2 mm in diameter made out of calcium carbonate. Pisolitic limestone comes from the precipitation of calcite and other minerals from warm, turbulent water. It's found in the Bahamas, the Great Barrier Reef of Australia and in some European hot springs. Pisolitic limestone is only of interest to collectors, because it has no industrial value. Fossiliferous and Compact Limestone Fossiliferous limestone can come in many colors ranging from white to black, depending on the minerals contained in it. The rock often has cavities because the fossils in it have dissolved. In many specimens the fossils can be clearly seen as shells or skeletons or imprints. Fossilized limestone found in the Nile Valley was used to build the pyramids, and this sort of limestone in general is very good for construction work. When crushed, it's good for ballast for roads and railroads. Compact limestone is hard, comes in many colors and has a very fine grain. It is often cut into slabs, polished and used like marble
- Q: I have an Easton Synergy SE6 Iginlia curve, But I just wanted to know what you guys think of that stick and how it is compared to others? or WHAT STICK DO YOU THINK IS THE BEST?
- properly um the s11 and the s13 are the comparable element however the s13 is the greater moderen version through fact the s19 got here out so the s11 and s13 are the comparable element with different photographs in my opinion i like the s11 greater acceptable
- Q: What are some pro‘s and cons of each stick:-rbk 9k-warrior johnson-warrior dolomite no grip-easton s17-easton se16and i would prefer some like personal expierences with the sticks.and just comment on whatever stick you know about
- Go big or go homeor go 2 piece biggest problem is cheap sticks are actually carbon fibre and Fiberglas mixed together. it makes them heavy and don't torque well. High end Warriors and Eastons (s16), the 17's like to snap. The RBK 9k is unfortunately a terrible stick. but RBK 5k and 7k shafts are pure carbon fibre and cheap, put an easton blade in there and for 90 bucks you have a stick almost as light as a 200 dollar stick. The 5k and the 7k one piece are garbage because the blades stink. And remember 95% of one piece sticks are actually 2 piece sticks. good luck!!
- Q: How to distinguish between magnesite and dolomite, that industrial extraction of magnesium is higher value, lower cost
- You do not know what to say is the extraction of magnesium or magnesium industry.
- Q: I found an AMETHYST Crystal that is about 2 X 2 inches.Digging about a foot below, I found a 2 inch long Double Terminated Quartz Crystal.Snoqualmie Pass.Hanson Creek, WA.
- Just take it back and ask nice that you are still having trouble with the switch they fixed and they should warranty there work.
- Q: Now, I know this question has been asked before, let me tell you why i‘m asking it. I have a 55 gallon Saltwater tank at the moment, i‘m thinking about upgrading the somewhat near future to a 135 gallon tank. I currently have a small grain crushed coral substrate (It‘s small grain, but still a fair size bigger than sand). Also, I know that crushed coral will gather and trap food particles more than sand, etc. I‘m asking my question because I have a Horseshoe crab, about 3-4 inches across, and he is probably 90 percent under the crushed coral. Will he have any problems with burrowing in sand? Also any other reasons why anyone thinks that sand is better than crushed coral. Also for those who have a sand substrate, how do you clean your tank so that you don‘t suck up all your sand. Do you still vacuum the floor, or just have a bunch of cleaners so you don‘t have to do it? I‘d appreciate your input! :)
- The crushed Coral is a natural PH buffer but I prefer the sand as My stars and burrowers such as my gobys prefer the sand. Aside from that CC traps to many waste products in between all the openings and its to hard to vacuum out. Get some other opinions so you can find all the pro's and con's because once its in its pretty difficult to change it.
- Q: I have a Warrior Dolomite 1 Piece hockey stick with a broken blade. Is it possible to cut the shaft in the right spot and replace the blade with a new Warrior Dolomite Tapered blade? All warrior blades are tapered FYI. I can see a ring around the shaft where it looks like the blade was fused to the stick. I guess what I‘m asking is will a tapered blade fit into the shaft? I love the shaft and would like to be able to salvage it, but i am only willing to replace it with the above warrior blade.
- The Dolomite one-piece is a fused two piece, exactly the same as the shaft+blade combo. That ring you see is the fuse point. Use a knife and cut the top layer around that ring to free up the epoxy and the paint so you have less to get through. Heat it up with a heat gun and pull it out like you would a normal blade. If you don't know how or haven't done it before your local hockey store should help you for a small fee, or for free if you buy the blade. The blade *should* come out, but some people will have trouble depending on the amount of heat-activated epoxy used in the factory. If it won't come out, you will have to cut it there and chisel out the tenon of the blade. If done correctly you will have a retail Dolomite 2 tapered shaft that will accept tapered blades with relative ease. You may need to alter the hole to get blades to fit as this isn't an exact science. The Warrior Dolomite blade will work if done correctly. If you decide to flip the shaft, the Warrior AK-27 blades or the soon-to-be-released Warrior Johnson blades will fit in the top of the shaft (or any standard blade for that matter). Doing so will alter the kickpoint and flex profile, so it won't feel like the exact same shaft afterwards.
- Q: ive already bought but all my friends told me its not good for defense because of its pinchi can catch decently though
- You are correct Iron Oxide is rust. 4Fe + 3O2 -- 2Fe2O3 It can not come from anything else but iron.
- Q: How do they manifest? and form? why?
- Typically sinkholes form in areas where the ground is mostly made up of carbonate rock (dolomite, calcite). Then a source of water (from a subterranean river/creek, broken pipe, or even rain water making its way down through the ground) will gradually erode the ground away. This can happen through a chemical reaction where the rocks/minerals are dissolved and carried away, or just by erosional removal of material. Once enough material has been removed, the overhead weight exceeds the support strength, and can collapse. Sinkholes can vary greatly in size, depth, and diameter.
