Q: I really wanna get my scaffold done but I've watched video's of it being done on youtube and I'm absolutely terrified now...a lot of the people getting it done screamed :/ .. please can anyone tell me how painful is it to get done? and afterwards? and also is it always done with a needle??Thanks in advance: Mine really hurt, but I didn't scream. For the first few days I couldn't sleep on it, I noticed bubbles forming around the ends but, that's normal with piercings with cartilage. Make sure you go somewhere who uses the tube for the needle. When I went, since my ears were small, he used two different needles it lasted too long. But it wasn't worse than my tragus so, I was able to accept the pain.

Q: I got my scaffolding piercing today, inevitably it's sore,but do i clean it like you would clean normal piercings with salt water?also how long before i can turn the bar?and how long before i can change the bar?Plus. it hurt so much haha: I got mine about a month ago, but i thought after about a week it didn't really hurt no more and i could rotate it and more recently i can move the bar up and down with no pain. I don't know how long till you can change the bar because i want to change mine because it don't hurt no more, am going to pop into the shop and check. And i didn't clean mine with salt water i got a cleaning solution when i got it pierced and also my piercer gave me a bottle of antiseptic skin paint which i put on twice a week before i go to bed and it is men to help the piercing heal

Q: On my blackberry so bare with me, I got my scaffold pierced on monday, everything fine, monday night I saw a lil blood clot scab thing...being an idiot I picked it, since then its non stop bled on and off, its now wednesday and its bleeding heavily, I don't know what to do, it soaks up pads of tissue in minuets.Anyone have any suggestions? Thankyou x: Did you try peroxide? Put some on a cotton ball and clean around the piercing. If this does not go away within two days and the bleeding persists your body may be rejecting the metal from your skin. This will cause the peircing to eventually migrate out. Go back to the piercer and see what they say.

Q: Hi im thinking of buying some Industrial Jewelry online but im not sure about the measurements. My recipt for my piercing says a 14g 1/4 barbell was used.: From what I see on the site, pick the 14GA 11/4 option since it's long enough to go through the top of your ear. Seems there was a little typo on the receipt your piercer gave you. The mm measurements next to each of the sizing options refer to the diameter of the balls on either side. Hope that helped!
