Solar Module Introduction
Solar modules use light energy (photons) from the sun to generate electricity through the photovoltaic effect. The majority of modules use wafer-based crystalline silicon cells or thin-film cells based on cadmium telluride or silicon. The structural (load carrying) member of a module can either be the top layer or the back layer. Cells must also be protected from mechanical damage and moisture. Most solar modules are rigid, but semi-flexible ones are available, based on thin-film cells. These early solar modules were first used in space in 1958.
Electrical connections are made in series to achieve a desired output voltage and/or in parallel to provide a desired current capability. The conducting wires that take the current off the modules may contain silver, copper or other non-magnetic conductive transition metals. The cells must be connected electrically to one another and to the rest of the system. Externally, popular terrestrial usage photovoltaic modules use MC3 (older) or MC4 connectors to facilitate easy weatherproof connections to the rest of the system.

FAQ:
(1)What price for each watt?
It depends on the quantity, delivery date and payment terms.
(2)What is your size for each module? Can you tell me the Parameter of your module?
We have different series of panels in different output, both c-Si and a-Si. Please take the specification sheet for your reference.
(3)Can you provide the peripheral products of the solar panels, such as the battery, controller, and inverter? If so, can you tell me how do they match each other?
Actually we are only manufacturer of solar panels, but we could try to source them for you in China if you need. We could provide you an optimal system design to instruct you how to install.
(4)Do you have the CE, TUV, UL Certification?
We’ve already passed all the tests, and any certificate is available.
(5)Have you ever sold your products to companies in my country?
Of course, we have customers in all general PV markets, but I think we should expand our market share along with the market growth.
(6)When did your company set up? You are a new company, how can I believe your quality?
We entered into Solar PV industry in 2005, now we have several plants in manufacturing of a-Si and c-Si panels, and our capacity is 220MW per year. Till now we have already passed all the tests by authorized laboratories, e.g. TUV, VDE, UL.
(7)Can you help us install the module if we cooperate with you?
We haven’t entered into installation sector, but we have the plan in near future.
(8) How do you pack your products?
We have rich experience on how to pack the panels to make sure the safety on shipment when it arrives at the destination.
(9) Can you do OEM for us?
Yes, we can.
(10)Can we visit your factory?
Surely, I will arrange the trip basing on your business schedule.
- Q:my solar car works when using the Battery but when there is sunlight i connect the wires to the solar panel and it does not work...................HELP
- If that solar panel came with the car, the panel is most likely defective. Make sure you're in bright sunlight, and try holding the car so that the wheels are not touching the ground. If the wheels still won't turn, even slowly, then the panel is bad. If each person in the class got one, see if you can try your panel on a friend's car, or their panel on your car. If this is just any little panel, it could be that the panel simply does not have enough voltage, current, or both to power the motor on the car.
- Q:Are there any fire hazards associated with solar panels?
- Yes, there are potential fire hazards associated with solar panels, although they are relatively rare. These hazards can occur due to faulty installation, wiring issues, or manufacturing defects. However, with proper installation, regular maintenance, and adherence to safety regulations, the risk of fire can be minimized.
- Q:I live in a higher LATITUDE so in the winter months, there is a limitation in the amount of sunlight available, but will this impediment restrict the ability of solar panels to function due to the lack of sunlight involved?
- Solar panels are *more* effective in places with abundant sunlight, but can be used anywhere that there is light. The problem is an economic one. Solar panels are expensive and can only produce so many watts per square meter. If you have less sunlight, you'll need more panels to get the same amount of power. Germany has a relatively high latitude, and are reported to make extensive use of solar panels (funny, I spent 2 weeks there last month and saw very few panels). The reason for their use of the panels is that their government offsets the cost of installing them through subsidies. Other governments have similar programs.
- Q:What is the impact of roof shading on solar panels' efficiency?
- Roof shading has a significant impact on the efficiency of solar panels. When the panels are shaded, they receive less sunlight, which reduces their ability to generate electricity. Even a small amount of shading, like from nearby trees or buildings, can lead to a drop in overall panel efficiency. It is crucial to ensure the panels are installed in areas with minimal shading to maximize their performance and yield.
- Q:What maintenance is required for solar panels?
- Solar panels require minimal maintenance. Regular cleaning of the panels to remove dirt, debris, and any shading objects is necessary to ensure optimal performance. Additionally, inspecting the panels for any damage or malfunctioning components is recommended. It is also important to monitor the system's performance and keep track of any changes. Overall, solar panels are designed to be durable and require very little maintenance.
- Q:hey, i am wanting to help our earth a little bit, and I was wondering how to do a solar panel connection for powering my home.... i just want to reduce my energy bill a little bit, Would these solar panels work?and how would i connect them?
- Hello, Yes you definitely can use this kind of panels. Powering your home entirely will be an issue if you are not familiar with solar energy and electricity in general. If it's the case I'm afraid you'll need a specialist. The basic principle of a solar power system: - Solar panel to charge the batteries - DC to AC converter that will convert the DC voltage from your battery to AC voltage so that you can connect regular home appliances like lights or TV.
- Q:What size of system would I need to get if I use on average 500 kilowatt hrs a month I would like to do a tie in grid system I live in the states south central area of States any info or links to sites would be wonderful I am interested in this type of energy soure thank you
- I think if you have the land have a solar array on your land. Putting on the house could cause it to collapse! 400 kilowatts per week is a huge usage. Turn some stuff off and don't leave the entertainment stuff on standby. Fill empty spaces in your freezers with blocks of polystyrene and be sensible with usage.
- Q:I want to know that if I put solar panels in space if Pluto can recieve energy for iPods and television
- I'm definitely no expert in the field but hope to learn much more in the future. I'm in the infancy stage of researching as many options as possible in the design and construction of a total green house. That being said, a particular local news story sparked my interest when they investigated the cost effectiveness of residential solar panel systems. Here in Austin, Texas, through subsidies and incentives offered, you can install a system that costs roughly 22.5k for about 7. Apparently these deductions come from a federal incentive (which is a very small portion) combined with those set by the city itself. Austin is a pretty progressive city so I imagine their incentives might be a little better than most but you can call your city's general info line (3) and do a little more digging. Another option you might have is renting the equipment. I was told yesterday that a company here in town would allow for the installation and use for a monthly rate. I know how tight cash can be in school and 7 thousand might not be tangible. The whole issue of energy conservation is so prevalent these days that new info is constantly coming out. Give your current energy provider a call and see what they can tell ya. I hope you find something that works for you. -G
- Q:Can solar panels be installed in areas prone to hurricanes or tornadoes?
- Yes, solar panels can be installed in areas prone to hurricanes or tornadoes, but they need to be designed and installed with these extreme weather conditions in mind. Properly engineered solar panel systems can withstand high winds and severe weather events, but additional precautions may be necessary, such as reinforced mounting systems, impact-resistant glass, and regular maintenance to ensure their durability and functionality.
