- Q:I just came into contact with this kind of things.. now I can't figure out how to do it. Who can help me to solve it? Is there any way to calculate? For example, 3/4 pipe fittings, how many millimeters is it? How can I count it? Thank you!
- Pipe fittings 3/4 refers to the pipe fittings of six points (6 British points), DN (diameter) of 20mm, the outer diameter of 26.8mm.
- Q:If you were with your autistic son and he saw there was a fire and said come with me so I can pull the fire alarm what would you say? If there was glass and your son started to kick it and he missed it on the first try would you help him to posistion himself to get a better kick or tell him to kick back and up?When he is pulling the handle down how would you let him know that he is doing a great job so he knows the handle will work? What if other people were around would you say something if they asked why was your son pulling the alarm? How would you tell the people that its not a prank etc? If someone tried to push your son's hand away from the handle how would you get them to let him pull the handle?
- This is sounding very expensive! Leather curtains? You don't need to spend that kind of money to get relief. The J.C.Penney catalog has thermal backed curtains that are designed for just the purpose you outlined.
- Q:First off, before I get a bunch of crap about it- I know some victims didn't jump they fell it's just easier to say jumpers. Second, R.I.P. to the victims of this horrible day. But, I want to know a few things:1. What do you think were going through their heads? (family, the fall, etc)2. Did they pass out before impact?3. What happened to the bodies on impact?
- Call your local gas company, I'll be they'll tell you.
- Q:something odd, yet makes sense. oil sponge, ocean speed bump, future jacket. stuff like that.)
- lol, funny story, at 15 i got my girlfriend handcuffs for christmas, which she put under the tree to my surprise and opened in front of her mother. I nearly had a heart attack, lol. Her reaction was great though Ooh, nice, lets go try them out!
- Q:Last night it rained heavy. This morning the indicator for the door locks say they are open and the heater fan doesnt work? Sensor? fuse? please help.
- If you have a good fall on the water supply I would suggest you use a closed pipe. Start with a large diameter, reducing as the pipe drops from the supply weir. Remember that the pressure neat the top of the pipe will be small when compared with the pressure at the turbine end, so ensure that the pipe and fittings are graded in strength with this in mind. You may wish to reinforce the pipe with and outer sheath of reinforced concrete, this will allow the use of cheaper pipes but has the added cost of the concrete. Good luck with the project.
- Q:Okay, so I recently found out that I'm moving back to the US from south east Asia. My BFFaeaeaeae lives there and it's terrible being away from her! We see each other ever Christmas and Summer and practicality live at each other's houses when I'm home. She always asks when I'm moving back but since i never dreamed that it would happen before college, I've always told her that it's not going to happen. But,Now it is going to happen and I need a FUN way to surprise her with the information! I thought about writing her a letter and then sending it so that when she opens it she's surprised. I'm sure there's an even crazier way to break the news! So, i need ideas! Thanks!!!D

- Q:What is a more rugged trip: Alaska or Boston?
- 1 meter 3.2809 feet 3.2809 ft X lbf/ft? / 62.4 lbm/ft? 3.2809 ft x 62.4 lbm/ft? 204.72816 lbf/ft? 204.72816 lbf/ft? / 144 in?/ 1 ft? 1.421723 lbf/in? Since there is a hydrostatic head of 1.421723 psi per meter of elevation, they want a 4 psi increase per meter elevation to ensure sufficient flow and to take into account any minor additional head losses (due to piping length and any equivalent lengths for fittings and friction factor) to the point of delivery. The diameter is important due to friction head losses over a long length of pipeline and the Darcy-Weisbach equation applies. I responded to a similar inquiry regarding static head loss over a long length of pipeline. Edit: I forgot to mention that there are many tables which apply Hazen-Williams equation for head losses specifically for water piping systems. This approach is probably more appropriate for your water delivery design work. Both the Darcy-Weisbach and Hazen-Williams equations require the inside pipe diameter.
