- Hi! I had the same problem. I actually didn't start taking pills till I was like 18. I am 23 now... What I do is eat something small first so that I have to swallow the food, then I put the pill in my mouth and wash it down with some soda or juice instead of water. I kinda trick myself into swallowing it since I believe it is still food or something...Sorry if it sounds crazy, but it always works for me. You should probably add that the flat tire should be repaired as soon a possible so that you are not traveling without a spare tire as you never know when you will have another flat tire.
