She has just thrown her bed away and now needs a new bed... But will this all just happen again? Q: I bought an unnecessarily extravagant bedding set, and it looks great but it doesn't feel very practical. None of the other nice bedding sets I looked at really did either. My guess is that its meant only to look nice, so my question is I guess, traditionaly, what are all the pieces a bedding set could have and how are you supposed to use them? Am I supposed to have a separate comforter to actually use and roll the other one to the foot of the bed at night? Q: im going to redo my room and im getting a new bed, i found a loft bed and a regular bed, im 10 and for my 11th birthdy im redoing my room and i get to pick but idk!!!!! plz help!: Like everyone has said bunk beds allow for more floor space. I have 2 kids and recently purchased bunk beds, they are great the kids love them, best advice purchase a more comfortable mattress, bunk mattresses are not that cozy. Also, if it is for kids i would purchased the Bunky boards or have Home Depot cut more slats. If it is for kids I would go with a wood structure instead of metal, just for the piece of mind. We had bed bug attacks in our room many times, this time i see them flying short distances.Does anyone have any idea about a flying bed bug?: Bed bugs don't have wings, so they can't fly around. They can climb, though, and have been known to crawl up walls and drop into beds and other furniture from the ceiling. If you got flying bugs it's something different than bedbugs.

Q: how essential is a water bed to a happy married life?: LOL so basically what you're asking is....... is your sex life better with a water bed? Because I really don't know how a water bed could be essential to a happy married life. They are uncomfortable to sleep in, damage easily (which now a days if you still have one and you tear it up it's almost impossible to fix or replace - I don't think they make those anymore unless you go online) and when you even attempt to have sex in them lord it's hard to stay still. Can you imagine trying to do doggy style in a water bed....frustrating.

Q: my husband and i have finally decided to transition our 2yr old daughter into a toddler bed.other than her getting out of bed more what else should we expect?: It honestly depends on the child. My son was so excited because it was a Big Boy bed so he was all for it. He got new bedding and a new pillow so he was ready to jump in. Some children don't like change so it's hard to transition. There are some books about getting a new bed out there and I would just praise her for being a big girl and maybe get her a bed buddy to sleep with.

Q: I have a chihuahua I can I teach him to go to bed --- for him to go into his doggie bed /-- when I say go to bed: Maybe you could place him on his dog bed and say bed, then give him a reward. Repeat this maybe 7-10 times before saying bed and seeing if he goes on it on his own. If he doesn't, don't get mad or yell at him, just go back to step one. He'll get the hang of it eventually and be able to do it without being placed on the bed. Just remember to use positive reinforcement, rewards, petting him, saying good boy!, etc. I would suggest getting some kibble (doesn't have to be anything too fancy) to reward him.

Using diatomaceous earth alone will help to reduce the bed bug population the home or apartment, but will not eliminate it. It works by clinging to the outer shell of the bed bug, dehydrating them and killing them. The problem is that the bed bug needs to cross through the dust field. Since its impossible to place dust everywhere the bed bugs are hiding or may cross through, it is only a partial solution. Many home owners like this approach since it is an organic product. To stay all organic use along with steam heat and vacuuming. There are also organic sprays (see 1st resource) that can help to knock down or reduce the bed bug population. In terms of a sequence: 1. Vacuum first (use crevice tool) 2. Steam 3. Spray with a knock down spray 4. Spray with a residual spray 5. Followup with diatmoceious earth 6. Cover mattress and box spring You may need to repeat 2 or 3 times. Each treatment reduces the bed bug population a bit more.
