FAQ
We have organized several common questions for our clients, may help you sincerely:
1. What’s price per watt?
A: It’s depends on the quantity, delivery date and payment terms of the order. We can talk further about the detail price issue. Our products is high quality with lower price level.
2. Can you tell me the parameter of your solar cells?
We have different series of cells with different power output, both from c-si to a-si. Please take our specification sheet for your reference.
3. How do you pack your products?
We have rich experience on how to pack the panels to make sure the safety on shipment when it arrives at the destination.
- Q: How can solar panels be integrated into building designs?
- Solar panels can be integrated into building designs in various ways, such as through rooftop installations, building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV), solar facades, and solar windows. By incorporating solar panels into the design, buildings can generate renewable energy while minimizing the visual impact and maximizing energy efficiency.
- Q: For a computer technology project we are using solar panels and trying to see different methods that will increase the output of solar power from these panels. For now, we have got polymer stickers and mirrors. Are there any more methods, or information that increase the solar power? Please and thank you :)
- Even the angle of a solar panel can increase it;s out put, if you point it towards the south, it will receive more light (or towards the light source if it is an artificial source) mirrors can also be place and angled around solar panels to gather and reflect more light to the panel, this is often done is solar water heating, but would work with a panel as well. Over all, solar panels are very efficient, it's our way of catching light that isn't.
- Q: I am looking to get some solar panels for my home to just power a few lights, a fan or two. I have a generator but I want that only to power the fridge and maybe some other small stuff for convenience. But mainly want the solar panels for the lights and fans. Any one have an idea of how about I go to figuring this all out? Should I call a contractor or anything?
- If your only deed is for power during outages, solar is not the way to go. You can add up all the wattages of the fridge and the lights you want to use, and see if the total is less than the capacity of the generator. If it is more, buying a larger generator is the answer. You can find the wattage of the fridge on the inside, or back. If not, Google the model number and manufacturer. You may already use CFL light bulbs, but if not, they can help reduce the load.
- Q: I installed a 60watt solar panel on the top of my patio/pergola. This is wired to a charge controller then a battery in my basement. Do I need to run a ground from the solar panel? If so, whats the easiest way to do so? Is a wire attached to the aluminum frame then connected to a foot long rod into the ground enough?
- Did you ever evaluate possessing the equipment your self? Why not take all of the tax incentives your self? Why pay an identical fee in 7 years from now? that may not a honest deal. Did you ever verify with them what might ensue once you want to sell your place before the tip of the lease? Our enterprise has put in photograph voltaic panel structures in 8 states in the Northeast and we adore to work out the tip consumer identifying to purchase the photograph voltaic array. we glance on the lease ideas as a final motel if there's a financing situation. the guy who owns it makes the money, short and easy. concerning utilising it whilst the capacity is going down, the inverters can not function whilst there is not any grid capacity. you may proceed to function utilising a battery equipment and yet another inverter, yet that will advance your fee extremely plenty as properly. you should use yet another generator as properly, which may be a less costly fee selection. you want somebody who's staring at on your appropriate interest, and not their very own investor. you've got your equipment value paid returned in basically some years!
- Q: What is the working principle of solar panels?
- the material is easy to industrial production and material performance and stability.
- Q: Do solar panels require a battery for energy storage?
- No, solar panels do not necessarily require a battery for energy storage. While batteries can be used to store excess energy generated by solar panels for later use, it is not a mandatory component. Solar panels can also directly feed the generated electricity into the grid or be used to power devices in real-time, without the need for a battery.
- Q: I would love to put in solar panels on my roof, but how hard would it be, and how expensive? Would I be able to do the work myself, or would I have to hire a pro? Also I live in Oregon, so much of the time it is overcast, so would it really be worth it?
- Not worth it unless you can get a fat subsidy. But Congress is working on a bill to provide a significant subsidy, and Oregon may have one as well. A solar plant costs about $0 per watt of installed capacity, and can produce a maximum of two kWh per watt per year -- which is worth about two bits. Without a subsidy, you are better off leaving your money in a savings account.
- Q: but is that per day, per hour or minute? How much watts does the average AC unit use?How much does an energy efficient lightbulb use?All in all let's hypothetically say we no longer use the electric company for our energy source, How many of these panels do you estimate it would take to supply our small home?
- It's virtually impossible to estimate how many panels would be required, without knowing your electrical usage, and where the house is located. I'll give our house as an example, but it could be off by a factor of 0 (not kidding) from yours. We have gas heat, no air conditioning, and no pool. We live in a dry, sunny area of California, and our roof is ideally oriented for panels. We would need 25 such panels, but we are grid-tied. If we wanted to disconnect completely from the electric company, we would need 20% more panels to compensate for battery inefficiencies. So, the estimate is 30 panels. Here are some caveats: ) Air conditioning, especially central air, could double or triple the estimate. 2) An area that gets less sun per year (northern US, for example) would need more panels. 3) Typically, when a house has grid electricity, they keep grid electricity when they get solar panels. It's much cheaper to use both in tandem. 4) That's a horrible price for the panel in the picture. You can find a 200-watt panel for less than that. 5) Other equipment is required besides the panels to run your house off solar. You can read up on it on the internet, or ask a professional solar installer for a free quote.
- Q: I live in Hawaii and having a solar panel is not a bad idea since we have plenty of sun the only problem is that it cost a lot of money and takes many years before you get your money back. There are kits available where you can make and install your own solar panel and wind turbine but is it bull **** or is it a good deal?
- go with wind power
- Q: I have an off-grid 24volt existing system using 8 x 80 watt 2volt, wired at 24volts, mono solar panels with deep cycle batteries, operating now. I have been given a 240 2volt polly cryst. panel. Can I add this panel to existing panels as above. Thank you, dumb solar man
- Assuming that you have / will upgrade wiring sizes to carry the extra wattage, that the new total wattage resulting from the addition doesn't overload any existing charge controller, diodes and / or inverter you have installed, then paralleling it straight into one of the other 2 volt groups should do nothing but add current to the system. True, it will be somewhat imbalanced, but it will work. Your other options would be to reconfigure everything down to it's native 2 V configuration which will raise current and lower voltage, with the additional panel creating the additional current to raise the wattage or to put it in series with the other 4 panel clusters so that you would get 36 V and additional current to account for the raised wattage. One last approach might be to set it up on another battery bank of it's own (small and at 2 V) to then connect to the same inverter. You'd be getting more power and storage capability that way, sort of a partial backup system, really, that will take some of the load off the other components to help extend their useful lives and get a bit more flexibility into it as well. The choice is yours here. That is all the ways that the system can be connected in, assuming everything in the first sentence checks out;-) It's difficult to make a recommendation without knowing what other components are in use and what the maximum ratings they carry are. Just remember that parallel connections add current and voltage stays the same, series connections add voltage and the current remains the same and you can figure out what to do with this thing to help you if you stay within maximum ratings for the charge controller, diodes and / or inverter involved. Good luck and stay safe!
