Q: I need to be able to charge a 2v 7amp battery with a solar panel. I understand that the charge controller will keep the battery from over charging/discharging, but what I don't understand is the amps. The solar panel is rated at 5watts.The solar panel comes with a 2v 3amp charge controller but will I need to buy a 7amp charge controller and replace it with that for my battery pack? Please explain. Thanks in advance.
In digital circuitry almst anything is viable. Virtually. The changing of voltages and currents is most of the time viable however not constantly effective. Sure it is extremely easy to make use of the 24 volt energy panel to charge a 2V financial institution, offered that the 24 volt supply has the fundamental current potential to hande the load.
Q: this solar panel i saw was for 500 dollars(i get a 25% discount)and i was curious will they produce electricity? or just heat?what do they do?is it a good investment?here is a link to the one i would like, no reviews but it looks new to the site.
You need a plan as to what you are going to with 80 watts of power. 80w at the best, it will usually be less. One problem I have is the limited specs, you don't even know the voltage. And you get a Sharp Module but nothing else is mentioned about it. I wouldn't buy it unless you can get full specs on it and on the Sharp Module. With no specs, it's difficult to get a refund if it is defective. If you are going to store it and use it for an AC appliance, a small one, you will need: a charge controller (to control the charge into the battery) a lead acid battery (to store energy for when the sun is out) an inverter (to convert 2 volts DC into 20 VAC) and all of these cost. .
Q: I am wondering how to store energy from a solar panel
If you are buying a kit, chances are there is an instruction manual in there on how to mount your solar panels. You can also ask for assistance from the store.
Q: I've recently started a project to help my store become more green and I need to get some estimates from businesses and if all goes according to plan we will have some panels on our roof and some other measures that I've written into my proposal. Any help is welcome. Just so you know it's a large grocery store in a corporate chain and I've been approved to do all the research, just no promises of payment.

Q: How much space do I need for solar panels?
The amount of space required for solar panels depends on various factors such as the size and type of panels, the efficiency of the panels, and the energy needs of your household or facility. On average, a 1 kW solar panel system typically requires around 100 square feet of space. However, it is best to consult with a solar installer or expert who can assess your specific requirements and provide accurate information regarding the space needed for solar panels.
Q: Im doing a project and i have to persuade some one that solar pannels are great... help ?
Solar panels are eco friendly, they produce with out disturbing the enviroment. Instead of having to build dams and kill of species that have water homes we can use the sun as our energy source. im all for solar panels i hope this helps :)
Q: how much energy does a kilowatt solar panel produce in a year? (average)
You would be amazed how often I have answered this question. The answer is that it depends on your latitude and local weather . Let's see if I can give you enough information so that you can determine the answer for yourself. A kW solar panel is rated at kW when it is exposed to a solar flux of kW/m^2 (called a peak sun hour). There are readily available tables of effective peak sun hours per day by city (see Reference ). Let's use Fairbanks, AK as an example (it is the first line of the table). Fairbanks get an average of 3.99 of peak sun hours per day on average. So your panel would produce 3.99 kW*hr per day on average.
Q: am having a 75 watts siemens solar panel and is giving me 2.89volts during bright light, i wanted to know can this be used to charge 00Am/hr battery?
Many of the panels used on homes are designed to produce 2 volts DC. 0 of them wired in a series would produce 20 volts DC. An inverter is used to change the DC voltage to AC. The other aspect of electricity is amperage. With electrical units wired in series the voltage is added. When they are wired in parallel the amperage is added. The Volts x Amps produced will give you the wattage. A wise homeowner will examine their electric bills or the equipment used to determine their demand. They will consult tables that let them know how much sunlight their area receives each year as this will alter the rated performance of the panels. Then they will try and determine how much of the demand they want to fill. 80% may be economical. Then they also want to determine what they will do with excess electricity that may be produced during the summer months of intense sun and how they will supply the shortfall of low sun winter months. From all this they will determine the number of solar panels they need to purchase.
Q: How do I clean my solar panels?
To clean your solar panels, you can start by rinsing them with a garden hose to remove any loose dirt or debris. If there are tougher stains or bird droppings, use a soft sponge or cloth with mild soapy water to gently scrub the surface. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals that could damage the panels. Additionally, make sure to turn off the system and use caution when climbing on the roof. Regular cleaning every few months can help maintain optimal performance of your solar panels.
