Q: i Bought front loader and the sales person said we had to buy detergent with the HE symbol on the Label, now is it the same thing with fabric softener? or can i pick any kind i want?: The detergent has to be HE because they've removed the phosphates...Phosphates make the water suds but also adds a lot of pollution to our waterways... Fabric softener doesn't suds so you can use whatever you were using before.. I hope your salesperson told you that because a front load uses 1/3 the water, you only need to use 1/3 the detergent, fabric softener etc...See how front loaders are helping our environment ?

Q: A feather pillow exploded in my washing machine....I have the interior cleaned out and everything is dry, but there are feathers underneath the metal basket, I tried vacuuming through the holes, but the feathers don't come through the hole. I cant get to them through the back. Anyone know what I am suppose to do?: I'm surprised this is not in your operating manual. I'm afraid that washer is going to have to be taken apart. The only other thing I can think of is to keep running it empty but if you have a septic tank, you may be looking at big problems with it if the feathers stop it up ( $ thousands). Given the compexity of the front loaders, bite the bullet and call a repair man.

Otherwise it could be the job of driving/manipulating a bull loader vehicle.

Q: I have an offer of a front loader 7 kg washing machine for free. We presently use a top loader of 8.5 kg for a family of 5. Would the top loader be adequate for our family. We do washing daily even more.cheers: We switched from a top loader to a front loader and are still doing the same amount of laundry. the sales guy said we could more into a front loader but that is BS. The clothes seem to be in better shape washed in a front loader though. They don't agitate so the washer seems less hard on them. They also use less soap but the soap designed for front loaders is much more expensive( I think THAT is just a scam myself.)

Here's the problem : in case one of those images fail to load, I want to write a function so that the Loader component loads another image instead. How do I do that?: I'm not on my computer with flex so I can't say the specific script code, but you should be able to add an event handler for the failed load. loader.EventHandler(faultevent, <name of function to fire on a fault) don't try that word for word, but you should get the general idea. WIll their union get them out of it?: The owner of the vehicle will file a claim with the city and get compensated for his damages. The guy driving the front end loader will get a warning letter from his supervisor instructing him on the values of safe operations of his vehicle. Unless the worker has a seriously bad record with the department, that's about as far as it will go.

But many of the consumer reports say they are the only way to go. Should we go with the reviews and get a front loader, or go back the the top loader??Do you have a newer front loading machine? They use less water, less power, and they clean your clothes better. Because there is no agitator (that center column in a top-loader) they also don't wear out your clothes as quickly. If you have a problem with a smell in your washer, then chances are, it is not draining as efficiently as it should be, so you have standing water and quite possible mold and/or mildew building up inside. Run a light cycle with no clothes in, and run it without detergent...and a scale and lime remover and allow that to clean out the inside of the basin. Also, check the seal around the door, if it is trapping water, you are getting mildew build up there as well. Now, there are quality top-loaders that do a good job of cleaning. It all depends on your budget. But if you want the best, LG has a unit called the Tromm. It has two steam cycles in addition to being a high-efficiency front-loader. You have never had better smelling laundry than when it is steamed.

Q: When dealing with wheel loader specs, what is the difference between max hinge pin height and max dump height?: Wheel loaders, like other heavy equipment, can use many different buckets sizes and types. All the buckets will connect with a pin through a hinge on the boom or the arm of the loader. The max hinge pin height is the highest point the arm of the loader can reach. The dump height takes into account the bucket on the loader and is the height of the lowest point of the bucket at the point of discharge if the bucket is tipped in a position where it can dump whatever it's carrying. The max dump height can best be pictured as how high a wall could you dump material over. The hinge pin height will be higher than the max dump height since the bucket rotates around the hinge and the bucket at the point of discharge will be lower than that since it will have to be tipped downward to discharge. I hope that helps.
