Q: Only thing i've come across is the front loaders can developed a musty smell over time, without proper maintaining.: I have a friend who has had this set for a while and is very happy with it. Front loaders have problems with the musty odors, which is solved by leaving the door open when not in use. Other people complain also about the length of time the cycles take. I guess you have to learn to deal with that. Others say that they can hold so much more clothing, that the longer cycles don't actually matter. I have also heard that front-loaders can be noisy and 'walk'. I just bought a Samsung - kind of a risk, as they have only been on the market a couple of years. But I am pleased so far. It is very quiet and smooth - certainly the quietest, smoothest washer I have ever owned. Some of it's cycles are long, but mostly they are fine - and there is a 'quick wash' that is about 36 minutes. I have been using it for several weeks, and it has not developed a musty odor, and so far I am please with the small amount of water and electricity it uses. In addition, I've also started making my own laundry soap, at a fraction of the usual cost, and I am quite pleased with the results. My husband is in the army, and hunts, so I am especially glad that I won't be using fabric brighteners on his clothes, so he can remain invisible to deer and enemies. Further assuming that you have 2 levers that control the lift arms (one lever controls position and the other lever controls breakout draft effort), both of these levers must be in the down position which is generally forward (toward the front axle) on most tractors. Finally, on some tractors, the weight of the two arms is insufficient to go down with the force of gravity alone, and this is more often seen with brand new tractors. So assuming that you have done all the preceeding then simply go to the rear of the tractor with engine off and two levers forward and stand on one of the lift arms. It should go down. If this fails, then it is possible that hooking op the hydraulics for the front end loader was done incorrectly if problem did not occur until after installation of front end loader

Q: i was given a CVA frontier 50 caliber muzzle loader..the guy would shoot it once a year with just blackpowder in it for 4th of july.. the barrel is exremly pitted and rusty.the outside of the barrel is also a little ruff. what can i do to fix this, I know this gun will probably never be accurate but i want it to look nice and functinal atleast,: I wouldn't be to hasty to replace that barrel. First, spend considerable time cleaning it out. A good bronze brush, bore cleaner, and a lot of elbow grease has brought back many bores to a better than expected condition. Plug off the nipple area, prop it in an upright position, and fill the barrel to the muzzle with bore cleaner and let it soak overnight. Pore it out and start scrubbing with the brush, and patches. Spend at least an evening doing this, don't expect it to come clean in an hour. After you get it all cleaned out, then inspect it again. You may be surprised. If it looks ok and there are no obvious safety issues, load it with a light load of powder and ball, and see how it shoots. Work up to the best accuracy load (of course staying within safety guidelines) and see how it shoots. I have had several over the years that surprised me and shot more than accurate enough for hunting at black powder ranges. If you find it to be inaccurate after this, then check into replacing the barrel. If it shoots OK, then the exterior is easy, and fun, to refinish and you will have a finished product that you can have a lot of pride in. shoot safe
