Product Description
High efficiency bendable solar module adopts the highest efficiency cell in the world from USA, with efficiency up to 20% or highter, which enable 25-30% higher power generation than the conventional PV modules at the same size.
By adopting the back contact technique, the cell can be coated with the flexible materials and finally forms the high efficiency flexible solar panel.
This kind of solar panel can be widely used in the field of Electric Golf Car,Patrol Car,Travel Tourism Car,Yacht,Roof Power generation,Backpack,Tent and so on.
our Semi-flexible solar panels are made of Sunpower solar cells.
we can do 15w-140w Semi-flexible solar panels.

- Q: Can solar panels be used in deserts?
- Yes, solar panels can be used in deserts. In fact, deserts are ideal locations for solar panel installations due to the high levels of sunlight and low cloud cover. The abundance of sunlight in deserts makes them an excellent environment for generating solar energy efficiently.
- Q: How do solar panels affect the electricity bill?
- Solar panels can significantly reduce or even eliminate electricity bills by generating clean and renewable energy from the sun. By harnessing solar power, these panels can offset a portion or all of a household's electricity consumption, thereby reducing the amount of power needed from the utility grid. This ultimately leads to lower electricity bills and potential savings over the long term.
- Q: I have a small marine solar panel on my boat It came with the boat. I want to make sure it is working before I connect it. With a volt meter It is only reading .2 volts dc. I would think it should be 2-5 volts?
- It has to be facing the sun for full power U check at the battery and it should increase as the sun hits directly on it. U can't check it at the panel after the diode.
- Q: Can solar panels be used in areas with frequent power outages?
- Yes, solar panels can be used in areas with frequent power outages. Solar panels generate electricity from sunlight, which means they can continue to produce power even during power outages. By installing battery storage systems, the excess energy generated during the daytime can be stored and used during periods of low sunlight or power outages. This allows solar panels to provide a reliable source of electricity in areas with frequent power outages.
- Q: I want to add solar panels to my home. I was looking online and it seems there are so many different kinds! How does it hook up to the electrical grid? How much do I need for a 2000 sf home?
- This is still not a trivial project, although it is getting easier. The usual way to do this is to contact professional installers for free quotes. In the process of getting the quote, you'll learn what considerations go into sizing a solar system. They'll look at your energy usage, and also whether your house has a good, clear, south-facing roof that doesn't get shaded during the day. They'll also look at your electrical panel to see whether they can hook right up, or additional work is needed. There are rumors of companies like Akeena planning to sell panel kits in Home Depot (in areas that Akeena does not directly serve). The idea would be that a pro installer would pick up the kit there, but a highly skilled homeowner might be able to make it work. A permit will probably be required by your jurisdiction, but that's no different than applying for any other construction. And you'll have to inform your power utility in advance, which may or may not be routine, depending on how often people connect solar in your area. If you want to see how we connected our system, a link is below. I did not really save money by doing it myself. That's because pro's can get better prices on the panels, which makes up for the labor cost.
- Q: If i wanted to get a 5 KW solar Panel does it mean it produces 5KW a day/hour/year!?!?i need 2555.35KW a week and i don't know how many or what kind of solar panels i need. Please somebody help me
- I'm absolutely no expert within the field but hope to be trained rather more in the future. I am in the infancy stage of discovering as many choices as possible in the design and construction of a total inexperienced condo. That being stated, a distinctive nearby news story sparked my interest after they investigated the price effectiveness of residential sunlight panel systems. Here in Austin, Texas, through subsidies and incentives furnished, which you could set up a system that costs roughly 22.5k for about 7. It appears these deductions come from a federal incentive (which is a very small component) combined with those set by means of the city itself. Austin is an attractive modern city so I imagine their incentives maybe just a little higher than most however which you can call your city's common information line (3) and do a little more digging. Yet another option you might have is renting the equipment. I used to be advised the day gone by that a manufacturer here on the town would enable for the set up and use for a month-to-month rate. I know how tight cash will also be in school and 7 thousand might now not be tangible. The whole trouble of vigour conservation is so conventional nowadays that new information is constantly popping out. Give your current energy supplier a call and see what they may be able to inform ya. I am hoping you in finding anything that works for you. -G
- Q: Can solar panels be installed on asphalt shingles?
- Yes, solar panels can be installed on asphalt shingles. However, it is important to ensure that the shingles are in good condition and can support the weight of the panels. Proper installation techniques and mounting systems designed for asphalt shingles should be used to prevent any damage to the roof.
- Q: Got a small project here in a remote location. There is to be a 2 volt deep cycle battery, the equipment to be powered from battery and solar panel to charge battery. The 2 volt battery puts out 55 AH. the max constant power draw from the equipment to be powered is 7.9 watts. Will a 30 watt panel at 2 volts be enough to run this system during sunlight and charge the battery for the equipment to run overnight? And, at 55 AH, how long can I keep a constant draw of 7.9 watts without a recharge? Thanks to all the input!
- o work out the wattage correctly, the panel needs to be sized according to how much power you are going to use. (Later on you're going to need a bit of info on each electrical item you need to be solar powered).
- Q: Do solar panels require a specific type of inverter for converting DC to AC power?
- Yes, solar panels do require a specific type of inverter, known as a DC to AC inverter, to convert the direct current (DC) generated by the panels into alternating current (AC) power that can be used in homes and businesses.
- Q: I purchased some small 3.6 v 70mA solar panels online. I have no experience with solar panels. I am confident of the layout of the parallel circuit I want to create, however I don't know how to properly connect the tabs that come from the sides of the panels. Any help on connecting them?
- Okay okorder /... That metal strip up top is negative, if you turn it around and look on the back you will see another metal strip there which would be positive. When it comes to wire, I use 24awg audio wire I got from radio shack, they only have solid wire at this gauge at my local radio shack but stranded is preferable. Solar cells are super fragile too so you're going to want to be extra careful. I then take a length of stripped wire and lay it over the silver tab, I hold it in place with some electrical tape at each end. Here is where experience comes into play, you can't use just any solder when making these connections. Well, you can but it takes a hell of a lot more time and effort to get it right. Make sure to use 96/4 silver-bearing solder. I'm not sure why but 60/40 solder does not adhere very well to the cell and usually the soldering iron has to stay on the cell for far too long which ends up discoloring it. If you need help on how to solder send me a message, you need to know how to properly tin the iron, since this is such a meticulous and unforgiving soldering job.
