I would definitely put one in her room. If for some reason you want to close her bedroom door the alarm in the hall will be useless. better to be safe than sorry.

Enough water will wash the acid away. They sell commercial grade concrete cleaners at hardware stores. Wear gloves safety glasses and protective clothing this cleaner is as toxic as battery acid.

First shut off the water to your house . The easiest way to do what you want will probably be to cut the pipe approx. 3/4 to 1 off the wall, turn the lines sideways or up/ down. Use different fittings to get the pipe size down to 1/2 if not already. Try to invision the flexible lines from the supply lines to the faucet and turn them in the best direct position. get a 1/2 threaded (inlet) x 3/8 od straight/ or angle stop (outlet). Use a 1/2 female threaded adapter, and using pipe dope, thread the male stop into the 1/2 female threaded adapter. Glue this prefabed piece into the supply lines making your shut off handles accessible. Use Poly supply lines and teflon ferrules, or braided supply lines to go between the supply stops and the faucet. Turn your houses water back on and check for leaks.

I spoke with a chemist regarding paint toxins, and he claims you have to ingest (that is EAT) HUGE quantities of paint in order for it to enter your bloodstream. Pigments in paints are encapsulated in the oil (or polymer emulsion in acrylics) and this makes the molecules so large they cannot be absorbed through your skin and cannot become airborne unless you are sanding dry paint and breathing the dust. If you're overly concerned, yes wear surgical gloves, never eat, drink or smoke while you're painting (to keep it out of your mouth) and maybe put away your cadmiums, manganeses and cobalts for now, replacing them with synthetic pigments. I would think that heavy metals are so large they do not cross the placenta I could be wrong, so just play it safe. I know a few folks who are suffering from heavy-metal poisoning (not from painting but from years in the dental and industrial sectors) and their central nervous system and immune systems are shot for life. Painting is much safer than so many other occupations - don't stop having fun!

Q: i need paper thin metal sheets that are pliable and easy to bend. i got some from home depot hardware store and they are like metal found in a soda can, its good stuff but it is kinda rubery, i try to bend it and it wants to stay the shape it is like rubber. its very hard to bend. a metal hanger on the other hand is easy to bend, i bend it and it keeps its bent shape. the metal i have i think is aluminum flashing metal for roofs. it is a little too weak for my application. its paper thin, flimsy, and can be cut with houshold siccors. i want metal thats about a mm thick and easy to bend but not impossible to bend and that can hold a bent shape without trying to rubber bounce back. what metal should i use, who sells it??

Q: Is Current basically conductivity?What is resistance then?After doing a bit of Googling, I found out that resistance in solid metal wire is caused by the fixed metal ions, which acts like a speed bump to the incoming electrons. In that case, doesn't it mean that the thicker the wire, the more metal ions it has, the lower the conductivity? But I know for a fact that the thicker the wire, the better it conducts. Yikes! :(
