- Q: How do you measure light year? I know light year (ly) is an unit of time taken by light to travel in one year. I am looking for details like concept or experiment used to measure the light year. - Q: I have had the 'service vehicle soon' light come on recently and at the same time my front and rear fog lights stopped working. I was told it is a burnt out fog light that is causing the service vehicle light to show and all the fog lights not to work.But how do i know which light is busted if none turn on? And would 1 burnt out fog light cause the other 3 not to work?And could it really be just a busted fog light causing the 'service vehicle light'?PS. - Rear Fog Lights?? Those 2 at the back on the bottom bumper are Reverse Lights. And 1 burned out light would not cause the light to come. You have something wrong in the fuse or relay which both of those are located on the RIGHT HAND side of your instrument panel. Does the light illuminate on the switch when you turn the fog lights on? If not, may be the fuse or relay. Also possible the switch it also could be the Body Control Module since it is the one that grounds the relay to turn on the fog lights when it sees the command when the switch is turned on.

- The gravity bends light. This has been tested and verified. This proves one thing. Photos do have mass. Once they have mass they should be affected when light tries to escape from a gravitational field. The lack of understanding of the light leads to several controversial statement. I don't know is there any measurements of speed of light under zero gravity in vacuum. There is a red shift phenomena of light well documented and used to measure the speed of stars, galaxies etc. If the assumption of constant light speed is true then one explanation could be the frequency shifts downwards towards red. This will reduce the energy of the light. A force reduces the energy. The energy reduction can be reduced speed or red shift. This is the only possible explanation feasible at this time. I strongly suggest read some research papers on this issue.

- if im right some scientists did slow light down for a very little bit of time. reason light cant go any slower is the fact that it is a photon particle and cant move any slower or faster it has a constant speed. other wise it would be a different type of particle ( any faster would make it on the order of a tachion(miss spelled sorry) which is still a theory)
