CLD230F bulldozer is equipped with NTAA855-C280S20 model Cummins engine, 3-element, single stage, single phase torque converter, 3F+3R power gearshift transmission, wet-type steering clutch and hydraulic bi-directional belt brake. Different games will work differently between 2 similar tier processors, a lot of it goes down to how the CPU works, not it's specs (if the specs are near identical). I would recommend just figuring out which Intel CPU is about your price range and then do so for AMD (as AMDs are typically cheaper) and just compare benchmarks. See if you can specifically find ones that use your favorite applications/games to see if there is a difference between them. For most people this is brand loyalty (even if not fan boy loyalty). I personally like both processors for different things and own a few from each side. For the most part though, if you have a nice processor (at least mid range) it won't much matter. Few games need strong processors, so you won't end up noticing much of a difference between a higher tier Intel vs AMD. So go with what you like and can afford (some people just feel better knowing which is in their computer, and that's fine until they start trash talking). I am still running a AMD Phenom II x4 at 4.1ghz and it doesn't cause me any problems, but I still want to upgrade and I am having a similar predicament.
