- Most screens are held in place with a rubber bead that is pushed into a slot. It's not going to be free to replace it, but it is not expensive. You buy a piece of screen, usually nylon, and pull out the rubber bead, lay the new screen over the frame and push the bead back in with a special roller tool that you buy at the hardware store. It is very important not to pull the screen too tight as you do this or it will deform the frame. Visit the nice people at your local harware store to help you. Or take the screen to a glass shop, they can do it for you, but either way, it won't be free!

Its yellow and stinks. You can get it anywhere {home depot,lowes ect}. If that's not what you want, try Shoe Goo. It repairs leather,cloth,canvas,rubber and plastics and is really really tough.
