Q: i got a new sweater, and it says to hand wash it...what kind of soap should i use?? how do i wash it in the sink...i'm completely clueless and i'm afraid i'll stretch it...: Buy Woolite liquid. Fill the sink or a wash basin with cold water. Add a capful of Woolite. Submerge the sweater and gently squeeze the soapy water through it. Let is soak for 3 to 5 minutes. Drain the water. Squeeze the sweater (DON'T twist it or wring it.) Fill the sink again with clear water. Squeeze it through the sweater. Keep changing the water until no more soap is coming out. Then squeeze as much water out as possible, lay the sweater flat on a big towel and roll it up, squeezing as you go to get more water out. Then lay it flat and shape it properly and let it dry. It's best if you have a sweater rack (a net-like rack) to lay it on, so air can circulate through it---it will dry faster that way.

Q: I've been using this combination of products to do a quick wash of my bathroom sink before shaving, because I don't want heavy duty cleaning product chemical residue getting in the water after I fill the sink I fill the sink with hot water to use for shaving. The mixture is;antibacterial soap (two squirts) and hand sanitizer (1 full squirt) on a sponge that is used for only for this purpose. I wipe the mixture over everything (sink, handles faucet, outer basin, etc), leave it for 5 mins and then wipe clean with hot water and a sponge (the same sponge rinsed free of soap)Is this sufficiently sterilizing my bathroom sink?(Note: the sink being addressed is my own private bathroom sink - common area bathroom is sterilized with ajax/comet cleaner and bleach followed by being sprayed down with disinfectant after primary rinse and wipe down): That is way too much cleaning. You may be OCD. Just clean your basin once a week with a little ajax or whatever you like and then rinse it out and your done. No need of daily sanitizing.

Q: It has a gold line around the top of the wash basin & the pitcher lip & handle. Would like to know how much it's worth. Any procelain antique dealers out there? It does have some markings on the bottom of the pitcher & the basin. Not sure if this is the right category for this question. Couldn't figure any other place to put it!: There are several places on the web that can help you identify your jug and basin set. It somehow feels English to me.
