Q: i was wondering when i put a q-loader on my ion if it would get in the way and if i could put a red dot sight on it?: The design of the q-loader is actually to NOT get in the way. Typical mounting position is under the barrel, out of your line of sight. You can mount a red dot sight on your Ion somewhat on the side so the feedneck doesn't obstruct its view, preferably the opposite side of the q-loader's tube (a tube runs from the q-loader to the feedneck, feeding the balls in). You can also look into milsim bodies for the Ion. A few manufacturers make them. They resemble the rail-mount systems on modern rifles, allowing you to mount a number of accessories, like flashlights, lazer pointers... and sights.

Q: What is the width of the loader bucket in the loading capacity of about 1.5 tons? Thank you: 30 loaders, the bucket is generally 2.4 meters wide.50 loaders, bucket width is generally about 3 meters.

Q: The joystick on the loader I use is unadjusted, I want to know how to readjust it.: The joystick controls four functions, you don't give enough info. Take the cover plate off and this will expose the Heine joints which have a lock nut on them, make the one you want to adjust a little (little bit) longer or shorter depending on which way you want to Control to operate. All the spool valves should be in the neutral position when the joystick is in the center. Tighten the lock nuts when you get done.

Q: I had two operating systems on my drive in separate partitions, and I tried to install third one, win98. Installation wasn't successful and I formated partition with unfinished win98 installation. However, it somehow screwed up my boot files, and though it was gone, I still was getting win98 startup screen, but I couldn't choose to start WinXp or WinVista. I managed to reinstall xp boot file, and now WinXp starts without problem, but I can't start WinVista. Its like there were no WinVista. Can anyone tell me how to bring back WinVista loader, so that when I start my computer I can choose whenever to start WinXp or WinVista??: It didn't work. FIXMBR and the other command wasn't recognized. And when I put vista dvd there is no reinstall. It says that the current operation system will be moved to separate folder and it will install fresh Vista.

Q: My top-load Kenmore washer has about a 2.8 cu ft capacity (3.0 cu ft minus the space taken up by the agitator) and can wash about 10-12 pounds of laundry at one time. Most front-loaders advertise 3.5-4.2 cu ft capacity but don't say much about how many POUNDS of laundry can be washed at one time (and from what I've been reading, that seems to be a truer measure of a washer's capacity than cubic feet).What is your opinion/experience in terms of switching from a quot;large-capacitytop-loader to a front-loader? Do you think that if I switched, I'd be able to get a lot more laundry done at one time?: Even if you use the same amount of clothes they will get cleaner in a front loader because they will be agitated more fully than with the top loader. We just got a new washer/dryer front loading combo by LG. It is a charm! Our old Whirlpool top loader used to take a lot of clothes but much of the time the clothes would just swish back and forth until they got sucked down to the bottom of the vane where the real washing takes place in top loaders. The clothes would not spend much time down there at the bottom, and much of the soap residue would stay in the clothes. Additionally, you would have to use two or three times as much detergent as we do now with the front loaders. All that soap money would go down the drain. Our washes now come out sparkling clean and much dryer due to the operation of the HE (High Efficiency) washer. And we can load the machine up as much as we did with our old top loader with no ill effect because the tumbler agitates in both directions. Get a new one. It's worth it!

Q: What can you hunt in general with a .50 cal muzzle-loader within it's effective range ? I will most likely be using Power Belt Bullets. I won't take shots grater than 150 yards. Can a .50 cal muzzle-loader in general take Safari Game such as Water Buffalo, Lions, and possibly Elephant ?: ANY north american big game animal can be taken with a .50. They are really too big for small game. For AFRICAN safari hunting, while they COULD take the game, in many cases they are not LEGAL for use on some animals, especially dangerous game. As to not firing, in more than 20 years of using caplock and flintlock, I have NEVER had either fail to fire. A lot depends on doing things correctly as they are NOT forgiving of loading errors.

Q: For anyone unfamiliar with firearms: single action revolvers require you to insert each round one at a time (imagine six rounds in your pocket and reloading). Not quick right??So a mall ninja told me a quot;single action speed loaderis available. Just a plastic/metallic tube with a snap on/off cap. Hold the tube to the revolver and turn cylinder. Works like a pixie stick to those without imagination. Anyone know where to buy such a thing or ideas to make one?? Has to be long enough to carry six rounds of .45 Colt. Thinking pyrex glass tube with a rubber cap if I can't find anything.Thanks peeps: For the most part, if there was any practical way to load a single action revolver faster than by shoving the cartridges into the chamber from the loading gate, it would have been invented about 130 years ago. The idea of a long tube that hold 5 or 6 cartridges is simply not practical. As others have already stated, it's simply too long to carry with you. Also, you need two hands to unload and load a revolver. What you described, turning the cylinder while holding the tube stationary, would work just fine when you are sitting comfortably at your computer desk at home. But, when you have to load in a hurried situation, it's just not going to work the same way. Lastly. The thing about single action revolvers is that each spent cartridge must be individually pushed out of the chamber using the ejector rod. So, before you can place the tube at the chamber to load it, you must first remove (unload) the empty (and expanded) cartridge that is already in the chamber. In summary. If we came this far without a single action revolver speed loader, I think we are apt to go another 130 years without such an invention.
