FAQ

Q1: How to choose a right inverter?

A1:Tell us your demand, then our sales will recommend a suitable inverter to you.

Q2: What's the different between inverter and solar inverter?

A2:  Inverter is only accept AC input, but solar inverter not only accept AC input but also can connect with solar panel to accept PV input, it more save power.

Q3: How about the delivery time?

A3:  7 days for sample; 25 days for bulk order.

Q: I'm from Toledo, OH about 2 miles from the MI line. We are a foster family and have adopted 5 children. We just moved into a 5400+sq 2 story home. We have (3) 2.5-3 ton AC units to cool this huge house. We got the house cheap...$75k couldn't pass it up! Anyway...I was wondering how many solar panels it would take and of what wattage to power these Central Air Units and maybe the rest of the house. We have 3 people in our home......9 of which are children who leave the lights on and run hot water to beat the band. We have all brand new energy star appliances and front loader washer and dryer. Gas Range and Gas hot water tank. Was thinking of using metal window frames and buying solar cells and making my own panels. Just don't know how much to buy. We face south with no trees. Constant Sun. thanks for your help. An e-mail address to bounce questions off of would be helpful if you experienced. tx.
Yes and no. solar panels are expensive and inefficient. therefore the power you generate will cost many times what the same power from a power plant would, and therefore you generally can only run a few low powered things at once. Secondly they don't generate electricity at night so you need some means of storing the power. tht means even more efficiency losses. They also only generate DC power, so you have to run the power through an inverter to make 0V AC. inverters are notoriously inefficient and expensive as well, so now you've thrown even more power away converting it. Bottom line, you're gonna pay far more than $600 a month for these things and you won't get nearly the amount of power you think. it is generally a waste of money to do this in almost all cases. The ROI is usually well over 20 years before you break even.
Q: i was looking into making solar panels to reduce my electric bill, but i need to know how to actually hook it up.
nowing what to do with unused renewable electricity is always a dilemma – hooking up to the grid has to be the preferred option. If your residential home is grid tied, i.e. connected the electricity grid as opposed to off-grid and you are using solar panels to generate electricity. Then it makes a lot of sense to hook your solar panels to the grid, because instead of losing the unused electricity or having to maintain a bank of deep cycle batteries, you simply feed it back to the grid. You feed electricity back to the grid via your electric meter which measures the electricity in Kilowatt per hour. This has the effect of reversing your meter which in turn reduces your electricity bills and if you are generating a lot of electricity you could find the utility company owing you money! The Solar Powered System Therefore, your solar powered installation would look like this. The solar panel will connect to an “array disconnect” – you need an array disconnect for system maintenance because it allows you to easily shut off the power. The array disconnect is connected to an “inverter”. The solar panel generates DC power and the electricity from the grid is AC power. Therefore, you need an inverter to convert DC power to AC power. The inverter is connected to an “AC breaker panel”. This is the interface where your solar generated electricity meets the electric meter and allows you to feed electricity back to the grid. Now in most countries and states you are not allowed to tamper with the electric meter so at this point you should contact your local electricity energy supplier and ask them to supply an engineer to hook you up to the grid. If you have anything to add to this article or you have connected your system to the grid – tell us how you did it by writing a comment below.
Q: Hi, I have in my sailboat 2 2 V batteries. I would like to buy solar panel(s) in order to recharge them. As i am in mexico and there is always high sun . i think it is a good idea.Usage of the batteries is very light . I have found 5-2V pannels with 80mA that fit in the sailboat. I want to know if and how i can have like 5 to 0 of them set together to charge the batteries and what other material would i need.also, i would like to know what happend if the pannels only send on 5V in a 2 V battery? Is it still charging but on 40 % of the capacity a 2 v pannel would charge or its just not doing nothing ?
I don't know what you have avilable to you down there, but if you were in the states i'd say go to a camping supply store they have lots of solar options out today. check one link below
Q: Can solar panels be used in areas with high levels of insect activity?
Yes, solar panels can be used in areas with high levels of insect activity. While insects may occasionally land on the surface of the panels, they do not pose a significant threat to the overall performance or lifespan of the system. Additionally, solar panels are designed to be durable and can withstand exposure to various environmental conditions, including insect activity.
Q: the solar panel works with LEDs, small bulbs, etc but neve with any dcmotor. Please help. I have a science exhibition.
It may be that the power output of your solar panel is not enough to drive the DC motor. It is producing up to 6 volts but it may not be producing many milliamps. LEDs need very little power to work but DC motors often need quite a high current to get them turning. If you can run several solar panels in parallel, you can probably increase the available current. Alternatively, can you expose the existing panel to much more light so as to get it to work at its maximum output? That might work. Good luck with your science exhibition.
Q: Mono-crystalline or poly-crystalline solar panel?
All solar photovoltaics drop in efficiencies with higher temperatures but it isn't the 45+ C you have to worry about but rather the heat from the sunlight striking the panels. There are hybrid systems which passes water in pipes attached to the back of the solar panels to cool the panels and preheat the water for solar thermal collectors. The difference between mono-crystalline and poly-crystalline are that mono-crystalline are more efficient and more costly to make.
Q: Can solar panels be installed on agricultural irrigation systems?
Yes, solar panels can be installed on agricultural irrigation systems. They can provide a sustainable and efficient source of energy to power the irrigation system, reducing reliance on traditional electricity sources and reducing operational costs for farmers. Additionally, solar panels can help farmers become more environmentally friendly by reducing carbon emissions associated with irrigation.
Q: Can solar panels be installed on parking lots?
Yes, solar panels can be installed on parking lots. In fact, parking lots can provide ample space for the installation of solar panels, making use of the otherwise unused area. This not only generates clean and renewable energy but can also provide shade for vehicles, reducing the need for air conditioning and promoting sustainability.
Q: Can solar panels be installed on bridges or highways?
Yes, solar panels can be installed on bridges or highways. In fact, there are several projects around the world where solar panels have been installed on bridges and highway infrastructure. These installations not only generate clean energy but also utilize underutilized spaces, contributing to sustainable and efficient use of resources.
Q: I have two solar panels and I have measured that they produce V by themselves. I am trying to generate .5V, but whenever I hook them up in parallel I get something like .02V. What it happening?
. You want series, not parallel. (Add the voltages. Coonect '+' of the first to '-' of the next, and take your feed from the extreme ends.) 2. if you parallel them and you get less voltage than one alone, you got your polarity crossed up and are reading the difference between them.
