- Q: Can solar panels be used for powering a manufacturing facility?
- Yes, solar panels can be used to power a manufacturing facility. By harnessing the energy from the sun, solar panels can generate electricity that can be used to run various operations in a manufacturing facility, such as powering machinery, lighting, and other equipment. This can help reduce reliance on conventional electricity sources, lower operating costs, and contribute to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly business model.
- Q: I am building a solar panel I have wired in series 36 .5 volt solar cells to produce 8 volts I have another panel that has 34 .5 volt solar cells to produce 7 volts. Any issues with wiring these 2 arrays in Parallel? I.E. would the smaller array take usable power away from the larger array?
- yes, i suggest u connect in parallel
- Q: Any feedback on solar panels?
- I have been totally solar for 4 years with the occasional use of a generator on rainy days which was only 6 hours last year. Understand that I live full time in an RV and power usage is much less than a conventional home. I do not have the need for air condition because I move with the climate. I have a propane refrigerator, stove, furnace and water heater. My solar system consist of 2 Kyocera Panels that produce 7.5 amps 7.5 volts DC and 35 Watts each a Blue Sky Energy 2000E Booster controller/charger with 4 Interstate 2200 6 Volt Golf Cart Batteries with a total of 450 amp hour storage and a 500 Watt Inverter. Kyocera gives the most bang for the buck. Total Cost: 2,00.00 Professionally Installed. This system provides more than an ample supply of AC and DC power and has paid for itself three fold.
- Q: Just wondering if it is possible to recycle solar panels and where that would be done. If it is possible, is there a money refund in return. Or would it be better to just take the metal off and get a refund in that way? Looking for basically any answer here.
- It looks like you can. Although, I haven't been able to find like a drop off location or anything like that. Here's two phone numbers if you want to ask them. It's Sunday, and I'm assuming they're closed, otherwise I'd just call for you. San Diego (69) 562-783 or Berkeley (50) 843-3. It's a company called Borrego Solar. They look like a BIG solar company that specializes in commercial, residential and public sector turnkey, grid–connected solar electric systems. With over 25 years of experience. They sound like they would know about recycling, and at least be able to give you more information. I think because it's such a specialized item that is being recycled, there aren't going to be many options/drop off locations. Which ever option you choose (disassemble, or recycle as a whole) might depend on if you're looking to save the environment or make a buck. I got some information from the first link below, and the second link is to that Borrego company.
- Q: Can solar panels be used for powering a mining operation?
- Yes, solar panels can be used to power a mining operation. Solar energy can be harnessed to generate electricity, which can then be used to power various equipment and machinery required for mining operations. The solar panels would need to be properly sized and installed to meet the energy demands of the mining operation, taking into account factors such as the required power capacity and the availability of sunlight in the location. Additionally, energy storage systems may be necessary to ensure a consistent power supply, especially during periods of low sunlight.
- Q: Can solar panels be used in areas with high levels of windstorms?
- Yes, solar panels can be used in areas with high levels of windstorms. However, it is important to ensure that the solar panels are properly installed and secured to withstand the strong winds. Additional measures such as reinforced mounting structures and regular maintenance can also be taken to enhance their durability in such conditions.
- Q: How do solar panels affect the overall sustainability of a building?
- Solar panels can significantly improve the overall sustainability of a building by generating clean and renewable energy. By harnessing the power of the sun, solar panels reduce the reliance on fossil fuels and minimize greenhouse gas emissions, helping to combat climate change. Additionally, solar panels can lower energy costs, enhance energy independence, and contribute to a more resilient and eco-friendly infrastructure.
- Q: Can solar panels be used for powering wireless charging stations?
- Yes, solar panels can be used to power wireless charging stations. Solar panels convert sunlight into electricity, which can be utilized to charge devices wirelessly through a charging station. This makes it a sustainable and environmentally friendly option for providing power to wireless charging stations.
- Q: Im doing this project on Solar panels and im not so sure what they are!some questions i have are who invented them and what were they invented? If u could know anything on Solar Panels i would love to hear it. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Solar Power. There is no denying it, solar power works. Not only is it energy efficient, it is also safe and extremely clean. Whether it may be for a home, business or a community, there are no limits to the energy that the best solar panels are able to offer. It is a guarantee that once this medium is applied, you would easily slash your greenhouse gas emissions and electricity bill.
- Q: it is just for a simple project, but i am looking for a cheap, low cost, around one to two volts solar panel regulator uld y'all please help?
- Solar cells shouldn't need a voltage regulator for simple projects like driving motors or powering CMOS electronic circuits. I would need to know a little more on your goals for the project to help. However, I will put a few links that may be helpful to solar cells and some voltage regulators. The first link is general solar cell info and includes manufacturer lists at the end. The second is a link to educational solar cell kits and cells that may be useful for you. The last one is Digi-Key which is good for finding components to make your own voltage regulator. Hope this helps with your project!!
