- Q:I use almay clear complexion foundation, and I am looking for a powder to go over that...i have fair skin so i use all the light colors. I also like the natural look, where it doesnt look like youre wearing.......makeup.. SO.....I purchased almay nearly naked LOOSE powder and liked it, but was scared it was going to make me break out since it wasnt on the clear complexion line, although it is still non clog poring. I exchanged it for Almay clear complexion press powder and im afraid it will dry out my skin? Help? has anyone ever used these items before? If so..what do you like better? I have sensitive skin..gets kinda dry at first, than oily during the day. Thanks
- I much prefer loose powder. It has a more natural look. I have sensitive skin too. So I only wear makeup about 3 out of 7 days of the week. I would say that most likely the pressed powder won't break your skin out IF you don't put too much on AND you moisturize first. I would recommend Aveeno. It has an SPF and doesn't break my skin out bc it's hypoallergenic. I have found loose powder to not clog my pores as pressed does. Try investing in both and use the pressed powder in your T-zone (nose, forehead) where your skin is oily and breaks out more. Then, apply the loose powder on the rest of your face. hope that helps!

- Well, in 2006 when this was originally created, the press was covering President Bush. I note that everything in the video was from a press source. The press also isn't a monolithic group -- many journalists/media outlets were actively against Bush, many actively for Bush. Same with Obama. Same with Lincoln, Buchanan, Taylor, all the way back to John Adams. Some of those press reports were even worse. The only thing that has changed is the speed of the news cycle and the importance people place on it.

- to accuse means to claim that someone did something. It is definitely not yet proven. Press charges means to legally file a claim of criminal conduct. The charge is the legal accusation, a statement of what the person is supposed to have done and what law was violated by doing that. It is still not proven. A conviction, in legal sense, means that the person has been tried, been brought to court and found guilty, meaning that the accusation has been judged to have been proven. A conviction means that the accusation is considered to be true by those people who have the job to make that decision. To drop charges means that the police have decided that there is not enough proof of the truth of the accusation to justify pressing charges. Generally this means that there is not much proof of the accusation, with the suggestion that the accusation was false. It might be simply a case of there not being enough evidence to demonstrate the truth of the accusation, rather than a judgement of falsehood of the accusation. Either way, though, the result is the same. The charge is removed. In our western legal system, the general idea is that a person is considered innocent until proven guilty. The decision turns on whether there is proof of guilt, rather than proof of innocence. The problem with this is, of course, that an innocent person does not usually get to prove his innocence, and thus even if found not guilty, or even if charges are dropped, there is always some doubt as to whether the person is actually innocent, or simply got away with doing something because there wasn't enough proof. being not guilty is not exactly the same as being innocent. - I use a Bodum Chambord. I have an 3- and a 12-cup model. They are measured in espresso cup sizes so the 3-cup model is actually more like 1 regular coffee. I like the glass models, but that or stainless is your choice. Although you should get stainless if anyone around it is a klutz. The French press is also very useful for making tea (I use my 3-cup for that work).

- Under Armour, Dri-Fit and other performance fabrics can be heat pressed, but they are not the same as a nylon or polyester jersey, and that is important to know when you put lettering on. Because Under Armour is made to stretch, you want lettering that can stretch with your shirt without peeling off, cracking or wrinkling. If you take your shirt to a shop for heat pressing, you'll want them to promise you that the material they're using is made for performance fabrics. Ask them if they have a sample you can touch and stretch for yourself. One heat-press material made for performance fabric is STAHLS' SuperFILM. Right now, it comes on a roll, not pre-cut lettering. But, if the shop has a vinyl cutter, they should be able to cut SuperFILM and do your name or design easily. Good luck!

- LOL. Using a cookie press is a two-handed operation. I grew up on, and still use, a manual cookie press. You probably need that third trigger shot. The dough needs to make contact with the cookie sheet. You sort of feel it with the hand opposite of your cookie press hand. Temperature also plays in the equation. If the dough is too cold, it will not stick on the cookie sheet. Good luckl.

- Q:I work out regularly and consistently, but I've been lazy about the bench press for the past few months or so. I still work everything else out consistently, I just hate working my chest. I'm gonna start back up soon anyway.Anyway, the last time I benched (3 months ago), my one rep maximum for my bench press was 265lbs. Like I said, I haven't touched the bench since. However, I have been working really hard to improve my military press and have been very successful. I just started doing standing military presses with barbells and in the past 4 weeks, I've gone from my one rep maximum being 175 to 205 with perfect form.Can I expect my bench press to have increased as well as a result of indirect training?Thanks!
- Its hard to say from military pressing, if you're shoulders were weak in comparison to your chest before then its likely that when you go back you're bench will be higher. You see more indirect strength gains from doing upper back work. My bench went up (without benching) when i did lots of rows, pullups and so on. The other thing is that the long head of the tricep will get alot of work from military presses, this could also boost the bench strenght. I would say the determining factor is how your form is on the bench press. If you have a slightly wider than shoulder width grip and keep your elbows pointing inwards slightly then their will be more anterior deltoid involvement and so the military press will definately help. But if you use a wide grip and let your elbows point outwards, then there is alot less shoulder help, and so it might not help that much. Either way its a good idea to give your chest a break and keep your shoulders healthy :)
