Q:okay, so i have a ‘07 Silverado with the Vortec Max package, 6.0 Litre. I‘ve done a little modification since then by adding a kn intake, light bar, HID‘s, and neons. I want to add a little more horses to it by installing a cat-back exhaust system on it. But i dont want to spend a lot of money on a piece of ****, i was wondering what is a very good brand i should get that will make a good loud noise and wont have me regretting buying it.
try a locally owned muffler shop for the cat back, with Flowmaster Delta-Flow 50
Q:Is spending $400 or more on an aftermarket exhaust worth it? They certainly sound better than stock but do they significantly increase power? I am the only one I know with stock exhaust on a CBR 600 or a crotch rocket at all.
The solid ball will have more thermal energy to conduct to the ice, and is more likely to melt through the ice than the hollow ball. So the hollow ball will be the one remaining on the ice.
Q:A friend of mine just got new exhaust for his Daytona. I think it‘s an ‘08. He said I can have the old exhaust if I want. My Suzi is a ‘94. Is it possible to make this swap?
Free exhaust system- if you have room to store it a little while, take it. Mufflers can be used seperately maybe, otherwise you have trading pieces for next swap meet or sometimes salvage yard swap. Mufflers rust out quicker than pipes, pipes usually damaged in crash, somebody may need complete system yet this riding season and will swap or pay. Perhaps someone with a Triumph with custom exhaust will be ticketed for noise and told to get stock exhaust or have bike impounded for 2 months at $5/10.00 a day- then a used stock system can be a money saver. A 94 Suzi muffler may be getting a bit rusty, check pipe and muffler size and you may find you can use the mufler with a little extra mounting bracketing. I ran Triumph and BSA mufflers on /2 BMWs, others have run what could be made to fit quickly when faced with noise ticket and repair or lose bike orders. Honda 750 muffler can be made to fit a Sportster under that kind of emergency situation and it passed inspection
Q:I‘m considering a Banks Monster catback exhaust. Please tell me if I‘m going with the best product. Sound, power, looks, and longevity are all important factors.
the original stock exhaust is the best PLEASE don't have some dumb mechanic chop off and cut off the stock, welded, stainless steel exhaust and install a cheap, clamp on pipe that's going to rust out and fall off in less than a year! please! don't do it! the original stainless steel exhaust with the welded seams is designed to last the life of the truck!
Q:What does the car exhaust system expander mean? Is it a type of silencer, purifier? Seeking professional answers, the best paste a picture Thank you
I was developing a car exhaust
Q:Where the dual exhausts connect with the catalytic converter the bolts are sheared off. The holes on the exhaust frame are clear, but the broken bolts in the cat. converter must have been welded on. What‘s the cheapest way to get the exhaust system running? Straight pipe from exhaust to muffler? Used cat converter? Or how do I get the broken bolts out of the cat converter?
For a muffler shop this would be a normal repair. Just replace the cat and you're done. They sell aftermarket cats that are not that expensive.
Q:what should I get to have a really deep throaty sound similar to a v8 (yes I know there is no way to make it sound just like one). Should I get borla‘s, flowmaster‘s, glasspack‘ssomething else? Also, I can not in any way have it high pitched, annoying, or raspy like those souped up Honda‘syou know what I mean right?
your right there is no way you can have it sound like a v8. if i were u wi wold do a flow master. its is a very muscle car culture and very in yet very well known and effective. bottom line. your car is not meant to sound mean. but with the right exhaust and intake you can be in the right place. can i just ask? why didn't you get the v8? or a saleen? i just don't understand why people get wanna be muscle cars?
Q:Is the Hyper Medallion the same as the Super Medallion Hyper? or Super Medallion Hyper Spec? There are so many names. I don't want to get the wrong catvack exhaust a know? Thanks.
Tanabe exhaust systems are all different. There are - Medallion Touring - Medallion Concept G - Medallion Concept G blue - Ultra Medalion - Super Medalion Hyper - Tuner Madalion All of them are designed for different usages, if you want to check out the differences between them and choose the right one for your car, look at Tanabe's site and read up on each of their different exhast systems, it will give you a better idea of which one you want to run!
Q:Went in for an oil change and the mechanic said my exhaust system was gonna go at some point; said it wasn t a matter if if, but rather when. He suggested I just keep driving it till it goes. I drive a 97 Subaru Outback and spent over a grand last year to replace blown head gaskets. My question is how much does an exhaust system replacement actually cost and is if worth it to have replaced? Also how will I know when it goes, will this cause me to be stuck out on the road somewhere or worse yet could it cause an accident if it falls off when I m driving?
Normally, when an exhaust system goes either an exhaust pipe cracks or a hole forms in a muffler - - - - you'll hear it when it goes. Replacing is not a matter of choice - the noise and potential carbon monoxide poisoning requires an intact exhaust system. Unfortunately, Subaru exhaust systems are more expensive than other makes of comparable engine size: if you need new pipes off the engine, instead of a single pipe as on an inline 4 or 6, there are two header type pipes due to the design of horizontally opposed (boxer) engines.
Q:Tougou tank exhaust system throughput is not correct
Not very right
