- First thing you need to do is go to the auto parts store and get a clutch alignment ARBOR so you can align the clutch prssure plateIt doesn't cost much at on, maybe 5.oo bucks and it will save you timeNow that you have that done,you need to make sure the tranny is level,Before you raise the motor make sure that the back of the motor is a little lower then the first .By the way if you have a floor jack ,put it under the tranny and loosen the mounting bolt up just a little so you can have some wiggling room.If you have someone to help you ,let them ez the motor down while your under there watching everything come together.Just take your time and you should get it in .Good luck.
