- Q:Ok i bought a decent hoover just before christmas and it has blown up the thing is last year i had 3 new vacumn hoovers whats wrong with me? What do i do wrong? - Contact the Hoover Co. on line and see if there is a recall on the vac. Ask Customer service to replace it,give it a try anyway.There is no reason a company can not back-up their product within a reasonable time. Check your warranty .You might be better off getting a quality used vac,they cost about $1,200 new with all attachments.Find them in a moving sale. My friend has a Dyson but it doesn't beat Rainbow and Filter Queen.Rainbow and Filter Queen are the top of the line and worth the money. The Filter Queen is 25 years old and still going and quiet. The Rainbow uses water as a filter but it must be emptied after a days use. I like it because you need no bags and the water keeps dust from coming back into the air. Theses vacs are heavy duty canister types so you may not like that. I have found American made products are superior to imports..

We need every kind of shark to be present in the world's oceans, each fills a niche. I heard about 2 weeks ago on (Living on Earth Series/Public Radio) that a shark can reproduce asexually. This happened in a zoo. The reason this occurred was because there were no males available for the female of that particular species to mate with. The baby, unfortunately was killed by tank mates but biologists found the discovery by post mortem exam. This means sharks are unable to find males to mate with and that is not positive.

- Well, around my house I'm big on house rules such as; shoes off at the door, no eating in the living room, and everyone making an effort to clean up after themselves. This way I usually only have to vacuum once or twice a week.

- The noise of a vacuum does not come from the motor, but from the eddies in the air being sucked. Open a vacuum cleaner and remove the impeller (the fan) and it would get a lot more quiet.

- As unique and crazy as that sounds, I've never herd of such an activity. If you ask me it sounds rather odd, and pointless. I personally don't like vacuums though, they tend to make a lot of noise pollution and I just can't stand that. But, I guess all people have different things they find to their likings, but this is one thing I'll never understand.

- Buy anything but a Dyson. I know an owner of a vacuum cleaner store. He says they are the worst he has ever seen. The motors burn out very easy. He has even gone so far as to not carry them anymore. Good Luck!!!
