Q:I recently made one to power my scooter, and it works with water. But i thought it might be more efficient with h2o2. What do you think?: I would say yes. I am not sure why.I have had the feeling for a while that hydrogen peroxide can be used in a simple device to create energy My whole life I never studied for tests and some how I would get the correct answers. It is as if the truth just resonates in my body I have been drawn to hydrogen peroxide as holding some great potential as an energy source. Q:How does the energy efficiency of fuel cells compare with the energy of other methods of producing electricity?: On paper they are quite good - 90% theoretical efficiency is attainable for selected chemistries. In the real world, water-based fuel cells are remarkably awful for an impressively large number of reasons. Molten salt cells are much better. The trick to Enviro-whiner arguments is where to start keeping the books. An engineer starts with fuel source to get true net energy production, mining raw materials to rubber on the road. Enviro-whiners start with engine output, thereby slathering lipstick on pigs.

Q:I wanted to build a small hydrogen generator and fuel cell for a presentation at school. The concept is pretty simple, solar panels uses the sun to convert water to h2 and o2 and recombine it to form water and electricity. I totally love hydrogen power but i cant get over this one problem. Besides it being easier to store the gas, whats the point of even using hydrogen to power a DC car and instead use the power for the sun or wind to create electricity. I see it as one extra step to do this. Burning the gas is the right way to go but i dont wanna get into trouble for lighting a flammable gas on campus and an engine is to difficult/big to reproduce. Am i missing something? Does hydrogen produce more power when recombined than wind/solar generators? Can anyone explain please?: Solar panels only work when the sun shines on them. Further they work on 12v systems. To get enough electricity to power a car, you might need about 260 sf of solar panels.

Q:I heard that car companies are making cars that run on water and the hydrogen inside of it when will this be ready? How is it currently developing?: one may know that avery high voltage is discharged to earth through lightning.if it is possible to use this voltage to electrolyze water into hydrogen and oxygen which can be used in fuel cells to power automobiles and others in future,whose waste will be pure waterisn't it a better idea!!!

Q:I know this is a dumb question but we got to talking about it over beers at our favorite Pub and the coasters had NASCAR trivia questions. My question wasn't on the coaster.Any-hoo. Anyone know the answer?: Because it would take longer to fill the cars up by hose or tank. Seriously. A good pit stop today is 13-14 seconds. When's the last time it took you 13-14 seconds to get 11-16 gallons of gas? Never. Because pumping the gas into the cas is alot slower than their 11 gallon tanks that they use now. Instead of 13-14 second pit stops, we would have like 5 minute pit stops. There's no fun on that. EDIT: Wait. Are you talking about a hose like they use in open wheel racing? If so, then I think it's, because of where the tank opening is located on the car, the hose would be in the way for the rear tire changer tire carrier. EDIT: Corundogs ~ Hey man, I'm a NASCAR only fan. The only reason I thought of the open wheel thing is because I remember the CSI Miami episode that was done on it. So, as far as safety issues, I'm was unaware of them. Like I said, I am a NASCAR only fan. Sorry.

Q:Hydrogen HHO Cell: HHO is a scam, only idiots believe in it. It's a tub of electrolyte with two electrodes in it, you already have six such cells in your 12V lead acid battery, why would you need to put another one in?

Q:How does the Technology work?How Much Potential Does The Technology Have To become a major energy source for canadians?any problems which must be overcome to develop fuel cell Technology?whats the cost for developing This Technology?Is It Available for widespread use?Is it Suiting For the World Wide Energy Issue?: a fuel cell is basically a tank of water and electricity is generated by spliting the hydrogen and oxygen atoms in the water molecules it has potential but i dont think it will become a domintating energy source becasue water has to be refilled so its range is limited and its very heavy which also limits its use the weight of it is a big issue im sure its very expensive altho i cant find facts on how much it costs not right now its in very limited use becaue of the weight and the cost to make it it couldnt power the world on its own i think it will help with energy issues but i dont think it will dominate the energy field
