Q:in a 1989 f150 i know how but the sterring wheel dont move what da heck
As with anything, there is NO danger as long as you stay within limitations. The only negative for a car tire is less traction when leaning. There is enough traction that you can scrape pegs on clear dry pavement. The limitation kicks in only when hard cornering in the wet and/or over less than desirable surfaces. Which means that if you have a car tire on your motorcycle you take it a bit easier in less than perfect conditions. The people that run car tires do so because the vast majority of their riding is in the vertical position. When they use a motorcycle tire they simply wear out the middle, wasting the 80% of the tire that is used for cornering.
Q:Last december I got a car which has been stored in a garage for about 5 years, but it's been taken out now and then to make it run a little. When I bought it the steering wheel was very wobbly, so I got some new tires. When I got the tires on the tire repairer told me the rims were pretty bent. So after a couple of months I got some new rims as well. After I got the new rims the steering wheel still was a very little bit wobbly sometimes. Of course I did a wheel alignment as well.I just had a job done which required a cv joint to be removed, and I went for a drive. The steering wheel again is very wobbly at about 100kph, and SOMETIMES it wobbles very badly when braking. I'll probably do another wheel alignment, but what am I looking for exactly? Are the wheel bearings gone?
You have stated that after the CV removal job the steering is, to you again wobbly. To me I would check that the lug nuts are tight and go back to the shop that had it last, they did something wrong and need to repair it. You need to stop thinking it is the same old thing, it didn't do it before the work but does after, that's not right.
Q:What is the composition of the wheel
The composition and construction of the wheels of a wheel consists of wheels, rims, and the connection between the two elements (spoke).
Q:Car steering wheel why is the second turn before playing full? Is the angle of all cars hitting the wheels the same?
Each brand models are not the same, there will be their own tuning. But the general ordinary civilian car is basically playing two laps or half a mile and a half full. There is a concept that is turned around. You said playing two laps, steering ratio is 8: 1, you turn two laps is 720 °, and the vehicle wheel turned 90 °. But the bus, the truck will be transferred more. But like the car tuning will be smaller than the civilian car, or even to 1: 1, how many degrees you turn the number of wheels on how many degrees.
Q:Water droplets wheel spinning wheel, which is more solid
Horizontal round (water wheel, drums) and spinning wheel in the use of their own strengths, usually novice on the understanding of this problem there are several errors: 1, entry novice with spinning wheel, master with drums. 2, drums throwing the road than the spinning wheel throwing accurate. 3, spinning wheel throw farther.
Q:The upper part of the wheel does move faster than the lower part. You know that every point on the rolling wheel is moving in two movements - the movement that rotates about the axis and the movement that moves forward with the shaft at the same time. Thus, the results of the two motion knots are not the same for the upper and lower halves of the wheel. For the upper half of the wheel, both movements are in the direction of __________, and the rotational motion of the wheel is added to its forward movement; but for the lower half of the wheel, the rotation of the wheel is in the direction of ___________ So be reduced from the forward movement.
Is your visual error that should be as fast as it is
Q:I have a 98 Audi A6 quattro which I am looking for some wheel spacers. I know theres 5mm and up im just not sure what size I should get. I want it to look nice and not have the wheels sticking out like 2 inches from the fender. If anyone with a Audi A6 has done this please give me some ideas thank you.
Wheel spacers are dangerous. They constantly loosen up and being behind the wheel no one ever removes their tires to check them until a wheel falls off. The other problem is off setting the wheel causes wheel bearing failure due to the added pressure put on the wheel bearing from the off set. Not a good idea!
Q:Of course, a car wheel radius of the consideration, not just consider the fuel consumption there are safe, beautiful, ergonomic and so on other things, if only for only consider the fuel consumption problem
From the overall point of view of power, which small heat which fuel-efficient
Q:change front wheel bearing on rear wheel drive car, 1994 mercury cougar xr7
Replacement of Front wheel Bearings on a Rear Wheel Drive vehicle is pretty straightforward. Jack up and support vehicle on Jack Stands. Remove Wheel and Tire Assembly. Drive brake caliper piston back to provide clearance between brakes and rotor, Remove caliper from caliper support and support it using wire to any available point. remove caliper support assembly. remove bearing hub cap, remove locking cotter pin, castellated nut and outer bearing, remove inner bearing and seal from disk assembly, drive damaged outer bearing race from hub assembly using a hammer and drift punch, discard damaged inner bearing and race assembly. thoroughly grease new bearing assembly, and clean and grease the other bearing if it is not being replaced, drive new outer bearing race into rotor hub using a suitable driver tool and hammer, clean disk hub and all bearing surfaces and install fully greased inner bearing assembly and inner bearing seal, reinstall rotor onto spindle and install greased outer bearing, flanged washer and castellated nut, tighten nut until snug while rotating the rotor and make sure rotor rotates smoothly even when nut is tight, back off nut a tiny bit, just enough to get the cotter pin in position, some have a normal nut and a castellated retainer, in which case tighten the bearing retainer nut snug then back off about 1/12 of a turn then find the position where the castellated retainer will both fit on the nut and allow the cotter pin to be installed. Install cotter pin, if it is not excessively damaged it can be re-used. Reinstall bearing hub cap. brake caliper support, caliper, wheel and tire.
Q:Is there room under a mini cooper to fit wider wheels?
Talk to the Tire Rack, and review their website. They test fit wheels and have an enormous database of what will and will not work. You'll be able to see different style of wheels, even pictured on your car, as well as data on their diameter and width. They won't recommend anything that won't fit. I'm sure that you'd be able to squeeze something a little wider under there, using a wheel with the correct offset. Remember that wider doesn't automatically mean sticking out further. A wider wheel can also tuck in more (not a technical term, but hopefully you can picture what I mean).
