If the option of Front Wheel Drive w/stability control or 4wd or AWD, I would choose front wheel w/stability any day of the week. If you live somewhere where there is consistently deep snow, that is a different story, go for the AWD. Outside of resale and traction, there aren't any. You usually get worse gas mileage as well.

- Q:i drive a 2002 ford focus zx3 dohc, and heard grinding and metal scraping on passenger side wheel. i took the wheel off and noticed that the bottom of my brake pad is touching the center piece of the rotor (as of my knowledge that i see) and grabbed the sides of the rotor and saw that it is very loose(as in the whole thing that holds the wheel rotor and stuff behind it), i was wondering what part(s) do i need to change in order to fix this.
