- They are still new to the cage. They need more time to get comfortable with all its parts. A plastic wheel with work and feel different than a metal one, so it may seem a little unusual for them. Also, make sure it is large enough. It is very easy to buy a wheel that looks the right size, but actually is too small for them to run comfortably in. Please also make sure it is a solid plastic wheel, not one with holes and spaces in it. This is extremely dangerous as their limbs and tails can get caught in the spaces, causing serious injuries which are expensive to treat.

- No to the balancing. Balancing gets rid of vibrations. Did this happen all of a sudden? One day fine and the next it was doing this? First thing to do is check the air levels. I would strongly advise having a tire guy check for a seperated tire. This is where the tread (the outer layer) seperates from the tire and starts to squirm around. Needing an alignment normally doesn't effect things this much it just wears out the tires faster. You might not even feel a bad alignment.

- you'll either need to buy risers for your regular trucks or buy longboard trucks. If you just put longboard wheels on your skateboard, the wheels will be to big and you'll get something called wheelsbite, which is where your wheel makes contact with the deck and stops you. Also, I don't know how you'd get the desired longboard feel with regular skateboard trucks. they're much tighter, and the main reason for longboarding is to have loose trucks so you can turn better. You sould probably buy longboard trucks.

- Wheel spacers are a bad idea and can be very dangerous. Because they sit between the hub and the wheel, this can cause you to have insufficient stud threads for the lugnuts to hold on, and can cause one or more wheels to come off, usually at the worst possible time like trying to avoid something in the road. Moving the center of the wheels out also puts additional stress on the wheel bearings and hubs, which can cause those to fail. And as an indication of the danger, a friends car almost burned to the ground when a wheel bearing went bad on the highway, it started to catch the grease on fire.
- Q:Recently got into a ditch, but there wasn‘t any major damage and I got myself out of it. No scratches, dashboard lights or anything, just a cracked hub cap (which is still on). - I think you have a bent rim on the front and once you get that fixed have the alignment checked. I know wome shops do not charge if the alignment is good so ask . The best way to check on a bent rim is go to a tire place tell them you were in a ditch and you need to check the front for a bent rim they need to put it on the tire machine to balance the car and turn it on the tire will have a pronounced wobble where the rim is bent. Once that is fixed its time to check the alignment. good luck you were lucky. sometimes there are big rocks or trees or even other cars in the way.
