Q:If i were to buy rims and wheels for a 1995 lexus sc400 (RWD) and wanted to switch the rims and wheels onto a FWD car, could i? the wheels are offset (rear ones are wider), so could i just switch the rear wheels with the front wheels when i put thm on the fwd car? BTW, i already know the wheels and rims fit both cars, just wondering about the opposite (front-back) wheel sizes. Thanks
If you put wider wheel, thus wider tires on the rear wheels of a FWD, you are going to get more understeer than usual. If you look at people who race FWD in road courses, they put wider wheels and tires in front to reduce understeer. Understeer is not fun. The front of car will slide whenever you throw your car into a corner. And you need to reduce speed or adjust you steering to correct this. This is something that most race car drivers want to eliminate, but car manufacturer set up a little understeer for saftety reason to warn drivers that the car is at its cornering limit. So larger wheels and tires in rear of a FWD is not a very good idea.
Q:I have a Toyato Yaris 4 door the garage said i have a wheel bearing gone on the back wheel but i have no rumbling or any noise can the garage be right?
complex problem. seek into yahoo. just that might help!
Q:If a wheel is 4 times bigger than its original size, would the effort to rotate the (4x) larger wheel be 4 times greater than the effort to rotate the original sized wheel? i‘ve been trying to look for an answer for this question for a while and i got nothing.
TIf a wheel is 4 times bigger than its original size, would the effort to rotate the (4x) larger wheel be 4 times greater than the effort to rotate the original sized wheel? i've been trying to look for an answer for this question for a while and i got nothing. Torque makes a wheel rotate. Torque moment of inertia * angular acceleration Moment of inertia for a wheel ? * mass * radius^2 Angular acceleration Torque ÷ (? * mass * radius^2) Angular acceleration Torque ÷ (? * mass * radius^2) Torque Angular acceleration * (? * mass * radius^2) Torque Angular acceleration * ? * mass * (radius^2) So the torque needed to accelerate a wheel 4 times bigger than its original size is 16 (4^2) times bigger than the torque needed to accelerate the original wheel. If the mass is 4 times bigger, the torque is 4 times bigger I am now retired from 23 years of teaching chemistry and physics and enjoy helping people understand math, chemistry, and physics. Q:Road off the wheel of the four corners _ seems to Xin Qiji's poem inside it? Now used to describe what
The road was cut off the four corners, where pedestrians pin bone. The road was cut off, walking the wheel is like growing four feet, and then walk also go here. Here is how sad, sad.
Q:i called a pet store and told them that i didnt see wheels or hideouts in the gerbil and hamster cages. and they said gerbils dont need them. i got a wheel for my gerbil toby and he loves it!! is this true?do your gerbils have wheels?
Yes, gerbils need exercise like any other living creature. They aren't some magical rodent that doesn't need wheels and things to entertain themselves, the pet store people are idiots, I think they're just making up crap that they don't know to make a few bucks.
Q:My husband needs a wheel barrow and I don‘t know which to get. We have a lot of steep hills on our property so I didn‘t know if that mattered to which I get. Also maybe using it some for firewood rocks but mostly gardening tools and plants etc. What are the advantages of 1 wheel vs 2 wheel?
the one wheel is for carrying dirt, rubble, topsoil, etc. and the one wheel helps the barrow flip easier to dump its contents. I've never seen a two wheeler but I would presume it's more for moving things like plants that won't need flipping and being poured out. I suspect if you are moving plants and tools that could be done in a small wagon (4 wheels). I would think a man though would be more able to use the one wheeled barrow. I would think though if your husband truly needed something he would want to pick it out himself although this item purchase is not a big deal.
Q:Hey i want to get a silent wheel for my gerbils any ideas of one that ACTUALLY works? or does it actually exist?? let me know thanks D
WD 40 is what I used on mine. Spray it, leave it out for the day, then put it back in.
Q:im not sure whether to get soft wheels or hard wheels for my skateboard.I usually skate street but sometimes i go to the skatepark and drop in with my friend. Can you tell me what soft wheels and hard wheels are for.thanks.And can you tell me some fast wheels for street skaters to.thanks
Softer wheels are more for vert skaters and longboarders, because they give you grip and you won't slip out as much and they usually are size 57mm and above. Harder wheels are more for street skaters because they can slide on smooth surfaces and they can deal with big impacts more than the softer wheels. Wheels don't really give you speed, it is the bearings inside of it that give you speed. The best cheap bearings are Bones Reds, they are great and very popular because of their performance. For street skating, usually 50-54mm wheels with a 99a density rating will be best. You won't need different wheels for skating park, but it is whatever floats your boat that matters.
Q:i just need to know who made the water wheel, the year they were born and the year they died, what year the first water wheel was made, and where the first water wheel was built.
Honestly, that's some harder info to find The water wheel dates back to years of ancient Mesopotamia, in the BC years You'd have to do some more in depth research to find exactly what years, who built it, etc.
Q:What do the wheels do with the wheels?
Iron or aluminum, if you are rich, carbon fiber is also OK.
