Introduction of Alkali Resistant  Glassfiber Spray Roving:

1) Alkali resistant roving (AR Glassfiber roving), used as reinforced material in cement and concrete

2) There are two kinds of roving according to different ZrO2 content of 14.5% and 16.5%

3) And according to usage, it can be divided to two types, one is premixed and another is water-dispersed.

4) Filament diameter: 13um

5) Roving density: 2,400tex or 4,800tex

6) Shipping container: Qty/20' FCL, 20 pallets (18.24MT)

Relatived Products of Alkali Resistant Glassfiber Spray Roving:

The roving can be chopped into different lengths like 6mm, 12mm and 24mm. it called AR Glassfiber chopped strand.

For 6mm, it is 25kgs/bag, 40bags/pallet, one 20' container can load 20pallets, 20 tons in total.

For 12mm, it is 20kgs/bag, 40bags/pallet, one 20' container can load 20pallets, 16 tons in total.

And if it is 24mm long, it is 15kgs/bag, 40bags/pallet, and one 20' container can load 20pallets, 12 tons in total.

Q:what r the raw materials used to make cement?
Cement - the grey powder that is mixed with sand and water and sometimes gravel - is gypsum that is fired at high temperature. Lime can be used, but it has to be slaked and treated in special ways.
Q:i am having a fence installed, i have quotes from 2 different contractors... one pounds the posts into the ground, the other cements each post into the ground, how deep either go i am not sure... but which way would be more secure long term? the posts are the same as used for a chain link fence (steel posts)... thanks
Cement 4 sure..pounding them in is weak...not to even mention the added risk of breaking a gas line due to not being able to see what you are doing. Think about it ...with cement you have the added weight for strength...pounding them alone is weak.
Q:if so, are there any special steps i need to do?
i dont think you should if you see in fish tank stores you might see that most ornaments are made of plastic or just live plants, i think you could try but i really suggest you dont, what if it affects the fish, if you google it maybe youl find an answer, well if you do try dont put like a whole bunch of fish in your aquarium (just incase) then again I could be wrong, just be careful, good luck!
Q:I seen on the science channel on like how it works or whatever it was called and they say that this large cube shapped thing of cement could float onnthe ocean to transfer somewhere without any help? Is it possible thanks
Yes. Lots of boats are made from cement. It all has to do with displacement and shape. Google Ferro Cement Boats.
Q:Is contact cement flammable when dry?
To my understanding, NO. Here is a definition copied from the second link provided in the Source box below, OK? Liquids with a flash point less than 60.5 or 37.8 °C (141 or 100 °F)—depending upon the standard being applied—are considered flammable, while liquids with a flash point above those temperatures are considered combustible.[1] By this definition, a gob of dried contact cement is probably combustible, but certainly, not flammable. I've heard of low grade diesel, not needing a Flammable placard in shipment. Wood, for a quick example, is combustible. I think you could easily test this to your satisfaction with little butane torch. If your gob of dried glue, don't quickly ignite, it's only combustible.
Q:How long should I let new cement cure before I can build on it?
First of all, cement does not cure... ncrete cures. Cement is just one component of concrete. The curing is the hydrating of the lime that sets up and develops its strength. Concrete will reach about 80% of its strength in 7 days. Almost 100% after 28 days. There are many kinds of concrete depending on the admixtures. These can slow down curing, speed up curing, hardeners and strength modifiers, cold weather and water-proof. Generally speaking, 8 hours after placing the concrete, cut your control joints (concrete shrinks as it cures, about 1/8 per 10 feet of length) and to lay wet burlap on the surface. This will slow curing but help with consistant curing. Corners will cure faster and accentuate cracks if control joints are not adequate.
Q:I had the foundation repaired in my basement a while back and the dust from the cement is still there, I've washed the floor about 5 times since and it still hasn't come off, got any suggestions about what I should do?
You should flush the roof and all side walls.
Q:What are the differences between 43 grade and 53 grade cement?
The grade is the index of strength measured as the compressive strength measured in laboratory of the cement cubes (of 50cm2 sides) on 28th day as 43 MPa 53 MPa (mega pascals). There is also 33 grade portland cement available which is the mostly widely used in civil constructions even today. higher the strength stonger is the cement, obviously and more expensive too.
Q:Walking pavementTypes of coumpounds or one
If you want to make cement or 'concrete' for a foot-path: 1 part cement 2 part gravel or sharp stones 3 part sand (not from the beach) You can mix these yourself in a barrow, add the water sparingly, not in big amounts. Don't want the mix too sloppy.
Q:It's already cured for about 36 hours. Is there something i can do? Someone mentioned something about Hydraulic cement. ????????
Hydraulic cement would be useless! It's used to seal around things that penetrate concrete walls/slabs as it expands when curing. Put on top of an uneven slab it would just pop off! There *IS* a way to fix uneven pours and your contractor will HATE that you know the answer<G>. They can use a concrete grinder to level things off. The machine looks kinda like a janitors floor buffer but has grinding stones instead of a buffing pad. They are most commonly used when a Terrazzo floor is installed but are also commonly used in industrial settings when a pad has to be adjusted or leveled for machine installation.
Reinforced,It is a real alkali resistent glassfibre enterprise of largest scale, most advanced technology and highest outupt in China. After the newly broadened AR glassfibre tank furnace with production capacity of 10000 Tons/ year being put into production, we will be the China largest, world second largest AR glassfibre professional producer in total output.
