Q:I recently purchased a 1981 yamaha seca 750 that nees new shoes on the rear brake. I am wondering if this is a tough thing to do and if I need to take the back tire off to do this?
I also agree with the above posts. Get a manual. It's not a hard job though. Rear wheel comes off and shoes can be replaced in about 30 minutes with just a little mechanical ability.

Q:I have an 09 Hyosung GT-250R. I was riding to school one day and my brakes locked up. I'm not sure if it's my front or rear brake, but I cant seem to roll my bike when its in Neutral or when it's in gear with the clutch engaged.What's even more annoying is that at the time, my battery had decided to get a dead cell and killed my bike. I don't know if these two things are related. I've since replaced my battery and my bike will run, but the brakes will still lock. HELP??!Hopefully, it's something i can replace on my own because I'm a broke college student -_-
when it's in gear with the clutch engaged - this is normal I'm not sure if it's my front or rear brake - if your bike doesn't have a center stand put it up on a milk crate to find out if the prob is frt or r brake. result? U don't mention any noises before this happened, but I'd suspect something became loose or broken/worn and is binding.
Q:1988 suzuki katana 600cc: rear calipers occasionally lock up pretty good, more frequently in colder weather. Ive blead them out and put new brake fluid in. sprayed brake cleaner on the calipers. spread the calipers apart manually. but it always seems to lock back up after used. if i ride the bike for around 10min it usually lays off. but id like to fix the problem.any suggestions???
This is vary dangerous stop riding your motorcycle please! You need to replace the calipers! Get new pads,disc,brake line,and rear brake pedal master cylinder while your at it. Brakes are a critical part of your motorcycle. Do what I said to insure proper function. Don't take chances!

Is it engaging but you have a broken half shaft? Do you have free wheeling hubs? Have you broken the dif?

Q:i just picked up a motorcycle handbook from my local DMVand i read it all the way throughtwo questions still are lingering1. it says lane sharing is illegal, but what about lane splitting? i know it‘s legal in CA, but what are the limitations on it?2. it talks about parking a little, like it has to be 90 degrees to the curb, but when im at my local supermarket, i see motorcycles parked right up next to the automated door.so are motorcycles free to park in places other than the marked stalls in the parking lot?thank you for reading and/or answering

yes aslong as it doesnt get too cold in the cool end, you likelt need a high wattage one and it on a thermostat. edit: can someone please inform me why ceramics are crap (just saying somethings crap without giiving a reason seems poor answering to me) i am always eager to learn and currently am moving all of my high wattage bulb vivs over to ceramic's (due to the Ban The Bulb move in the uk mean all high wattage bulbs (over 100W in 2010 and anything over 50W by 2015) are soon to be removed from UK shelves. but if there is a problem with them (other than the light basking issue) i would like to know but i do find you answer pretty offensive But if all of my advice kill animals then fine. iassume you varanid are completely pefect in everyway .
