Q:I have a Honda 83 nighthawk 650 with duel front brakes. The brakes keep locking up on rides. If I crack the line at the master cylinder the calipers relaese. I have rebuilt the master cylinder with a kit I bought from my local Honda power sports shop. Replaced brake lines and line hardware. Just took appart my calipers and cleaned pistons replaced seals for piston. Brakes just locked up agian and I don't know where to go from here
Good question well written! It sounds as if the return port on the master is blocked. You did rebuild it but this port is tiny tiny tiny. Have a second look at it. It sounds like you did everything right.
Q:mainly riding during traffic or crowded public area?
You always use a combination of your front and rear brakes depending on how you are riding and what surface you are on. The type of bike you ride also makes a difference on which brakes you use more. Take a rider's course. They will get you started on using your brakes the right way.
Q:I‘m 16 years old and am going to get my car and motorcycle license in about half a year. Although I don‘t have experience on the road by myself. I feel confident in my abilities and am eager to start on a 2008 Honda CBR600rr. I‘m not looking for people to tell me Oh you shouldn‘t start on a 600cc bike. Rather I‘m looking for tips and advice to improve my knowledge of what and what not to do. I have never driven a motorcycle yet but will definitely take the safety courses and be responsible in learning to ride the CBR600rr. Any advice from starting up the bike, to riding it on a main highway wIll be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Great choice! As for a motorcycle, ride like a normal person. Don't try to impress others by doing wheelies or burnouts. People don't really care if your bike can do a burnout or wheelie. You need to be very experianced when doing a wheelie. Sure it looks easy, but if you land down at the slightest angle, your done. Don't tailgate, wear your gear, don't mess around with cars(brake check etc.), don't speed, and don't race. Take a MSF course so you know how to handle situations if they appear. When riding on the main highway stay to the right of the lane you are in. That way anybody who is merging will be more likely to see you. Don't ride in the center, as there could be oil slicks or debris. Also, always be aware of your surroundings, if you find yourself boxed in by cars, get out of there ASAP. The less cars around you, the more space you have to move around if anything does happen(for example, somebody moves into your lane). Also, get a visible helmet along with gear. Get a visible color on your bike too(get any color but black). The helmet is the first thing a person focuses on because it is the highest point of the bike.
Q:After my Honda VT750 1998 fell down while riding, it started making noise somewhere around the front wheel; noise like two hard pieces are scratching each other. At the beginning the noise happened only when the front brake was applied, but now it happens when riding. I also feel weak knocking on the front brake lever. The pace of the knocking becomes faster as the speed of the bike slower. The brake disc was hot after a ride in which I used the brake. What is the problem and solutions? I'd appreciate answers not like take it to a shop. Thank you.
You might, given your additional details, have twisted the forks. But even though the impact was on the other side, first check the disc by raising the front end, and spinning the front wheel and use a pencil to measure the distance from fork leg to disc.
Q:i need to know if anyone know where i can find motorcycle parts(2002 suzuki sv650), it ws invovle in a accident and so like the brake pedal needs to be replaced and a few other things, but the pedals is something hard to find and at a reasonable price also even if its to pick it off a broke down motorcycle same brand of course.

Q:I am new to Riding motorcycles and was wondering what is a good started bike. I have looked at sportsters and so on but i havent found anything that caught my eye. I did however see a Triumph Tiger and was curious. I like the bike and all the xtras for it but is it an ok starter bike?
If you are getting fewer than 10.000 miles on a cruiser, switch brands of tire.
Q:Motorcycle Brake Skills?
Motorcycle front brake is very important, and when the speed is fast when the emergency needs to brake, the risk of rear wheel violence will increase, and the front wheel is just the opposite, so the intensity of the front brake should be greater than the rear brake, if the rear wheel Dead, will inevitably flick, rollover, of course, the front brake can not pinch too tight, if the front wheel violent death, the motorcycle will lose direction control.
Q:and would it look weird if i advertise for a girl to teach me to ride (im a girl) i think i‘d be more comfortable with that
Learning to control a motorcycle can take less than an hour if you are not afraid of using the throttle when you are supposed to and you don't squeeze the brake when you get nervous. It takes not even half a day to learn how to ride but the process of learning to ride safely on public road takes weeks, months and years. Take the MSF course and take any extra training you can afford until you are confident. There are lots of female motorcycle instructors and other girls to learn to ride with.
