Q: Can the washbasin and the washing machine share a floor drain?: As long as you drain the water pipe is large enough, and you can easily put the drain, you can. If the sewer is not too big, it is recommended not to put it together, the washing machine when the water is very urgent, the water is not enough water will seep out.

Q: I live in rental house and next year I am having my wedding reception in the back yard and I want to do something that will make my bathroom wash basin look better. I know my landlord won't get a new new and I know that I am not buying a new one but is there something that I can do to make it look better without having to replace it (since about 50 people) will be using it on that day. I'm not sure if I can paint it since it's like a pasteboard material or can i make some type of skirt or something that can hide it. Does anyone have any ideas. Then you should buy sugar soap for your walls, With very little rubbing the dirt and stains will come off. Q: A friend of mine is an easy victim of vomitting...... Wht happens is tht when shes feeling giddy she will run to the wash basin sink in the open area of the house n tht too with people around n will puke n u can hear her vomit gurgling out of her mouth......GROSS. Today after we ate out n we drank orange drink n suddenly she was coughing hard, so she walks up to my wash basin sink beside my bedroom, n she spits n then i see orange colored vomit with food is flowing out of her mouth into my sink...... Today i got really angry n i told her tht if she needs to vomit she needs to go inside the toilet, lock the door n then puke in the toilet bowl....n not openly by public display bcoz is lack of manners n gross for people watching...... She said i m mean...i dont think i was mean by saying this. Its a question of etiquette: I can't vomit in the toilet, I need to be more upright and with more support. Hey, as long as she gets to the bathroom on time, and doesn't miss the basin and cleans up then I think that is enough to ask of her.

Q: My wash basin pipe is blocked somwehere as water doesnt go down the pipe and it jus stay in wash basin. I have opened the one end of pipe which is just under the basin and cleaned it but it didnt help me. I couldnt access the rest of the pipe as its hidden behind the bath tub and i opened the bath panel as well to see whether i can see the pipe but its behind the base of bath tub. I dont wanna pay 150-200 quid to any plumber as its too expensive for me.. Could you plz suugest me some alternative. I have tried bleach and all that stuff as well but no luck !: If you have a lever operated drain stopper it may be clogged with hair, soap, etc. Remove the overflow drain cover (usually one screw) and the handle. Then you can pull up the articulating rod and in line stopper. Clean it and put it back together in reverse order. If the problem is further down the line use a plumbers snake to free the debris. Best of luck.
