Solar street lights are an efficient means to provide lighting with no utility lines. They provide cost savings by eliminating the need to trench wires and the recurring cost of power bills after installation. Solar street lights have been installed on highways, freeways, neighborhood streets, rural roads, etc. and provide security, sustainability and an overall green image.

Every solar street light comes with a self-contained solar power assembly that is sized to run the fixture per the needs of the customer. Each power assembly is sized by the lamp power consumption times the number of hours of operation and how much sun is provided in each geographic area to provide adequate autonomy. The power assembly is mounted at the top of the pole, typically above the fixture(s). See our Solar Power Systems section for additional information and specifications.

Various style fixtures are available from standard Cobrahead fixtures to decorative style fixtures. They can provide the needed lighting levels and distribution patterns to provide the perfect lighting solution. See our Solar Light Fixture section for all fixture choices and specifications.

The SP side of pole upsweep tapered elliptical mounting bracket comes in 4’, 6’ and 8’ lengths and features a 24” rise. The ST side of pole tenon bracket provides a 2 3/8” straight tenon pipe for horizontal size of pole mounting in 5” or 24” lengths. Decorative fixture brackets can also be provided for decorative style fixtures.

Solar street light system is an ideal application for campus and village street lighting. The system is provided with battery storage backup sufficient to operate the light for 10-11 hours daily. Automatic ON/OFF time switch for dusk to down operation and overcharge / deep discharge prevention cut-off are provided with LED indicators. Easy Photovoltech's solar street lightening systems require low maintenance, have longer life and provide better performance. We manufacture and supply two types of solar street light i.e. solar LED street lights, solar CFL street light.

Only A-brand quality mono- and poly- crystalline silicon solar panels with high efficiency and long lifetime are used.High Lumen LED modules for maximum efficacy. Dedicated designed low-voltage solar controller technology with dimming capabilities for power-save management. Lifetime > 50,000 hrs and CRI nominal 70.Highly efficient controller to charge your batteries and intelligent microprocessor controlled algorithms for light management ensure maximum uptime.Specific deep discharge batteries are used to store the energy, provide energy for immediate requirements, and enable a back-up for days when there is little or no sun.Microprocessor managed algorithms autonomously determine sunrise and sunset.

Q: How do solar lights provide illumination on highways?
Solar lights on highways provide illumination through the use of photovoltaic panels that convert sunlight into electricity. This electricity is stored in batteries during the day and then used to power the lights at night, ensuring a continuous source of light without the need for traditional power sources or wiring.
Q: Do solar lights have a built-in battery backup?
Yes, solar lights typically have a built-in battery backup that stores the energy generated by the solar panels during the day, allowing the lights to function at night or during cloudy days when there is limited sunlight.
Q: Are solar lights easy to uninstall and relocate?
Yes, solar lights are generally easy to uninstall and relocate. Since they are not hardwired to an electrical source, they can be easily removed from one location and placed in another without any complicated wiring or installation process.
Q: Are there solar lights with built-in security cameras and alarms?
Yes, there are solar lights available in the market that come with built-in security cameras and alarms. These innovative devices combine the functionality of outdoor lighting with the added benefits of surveillance and security. Solar lights with built-in security cameras and alarms allow you to illuminate your outdoor space and simultaneously monitor any suspicious activities. These lights typically feature high-resolution cameras that capture clear and detailed footage, which can be viewed remotely through a smartphone or computer. They often come equipped with motion sensors that trigger the camera and alarm system when any movement is detected within their range. This helps to deter potential intruders and provides you with real-time alerts and notifications. The solar-powered functionality of these lights ensures that they can operate without the need for external power sources or wiring. They harness energy from the sun during the day and store it in built-in batteries, which power the lights and camera system throughout the night. This makes them environmentally friendly and cost-effective, as they do not require electricity to function. Overall, solar lights with built-in security cameras and alarms offer a convenient and effective solution for enhancing the security of your outdoor space. They provide both lighting and surveillance capabilities, allowing you to monitor your property and deter potential threats.
Q: Can solar lights be used for bus stop lighting?
Yes, solar lights can be used for bus stop lighting. Solar lights are a sustainable and cost-effective option for bus stop lighting as they are powered by the sun and do not require any electricity from the grid. They are easy to install, low maintenance, and provide adequate lighting for bus stops, ensuring safety and visibility for passengers.
Q: Can solar lights be used as a primary light source?
Solar lights can be used as a primary light source in certain situations, such as in outdoor areas or remote locations where access to electricity is limited. However, their effectiveness and reliability may vary depending on factors like sunlight availability, battery capacity, and overall design. In urban or heavily populated areas with consistent electricity supply, solar lights may not be as practical for primary lighting needs.
Q: Can solar lights be used in places without electricity?
Solar lights are capable of being utilized in areas where there is no electricity. These lights function by capturing solar energy and transforming it into electrical energy to activate the light. They are equipped with solar panels that absorb sunlight throughout the day and store the energy in rechargeable batteries. This stored energy is then utilized to power the light during the nighttime hours. As long as there is exposure to sunlight, solar lights can be employed in any location, which makes them especially beneficial in regions with limited or nonexistent access to electrical grids. They represent a sustainable and cost-effective alternative for providing illumination in remote areas, campsites, gardens, pathways, and other locations lacking traditional electricity.
Q: Do solar lights have adjustable brightness levels for different ambiance settings?
Indeed, there are numerous solar lights available with the capability to adjust their brightness levels to suit various ambiance settings. Several solar lights are equipped with multiple brightness options, enabling you to personalize the lighting according to your preferences and the desired atmosphere. Typically, these brightness levels can be modified using a switch or button on the light itself. Opting for a lower brightness level will create a gentler and more soothing lighting environment, whereas selecting a higher brightness level will provide a more intense and utilitarian lighting alternative. This characteristic facilitates effortless adaptation of the solar lights to diverse occasions or moods, whether you seek a warm and intimate setting or a brighter and more functional lighting solution.
Q: Are solar lights suitable for rooftop gardens or green roofs?
Yes, solar lights are suitable for rooftop gardens or green roofs. They are a great option for these spaces as they are easy to install, require no wiring or external power source, and can be placed strategically to provide illumination where needed. Additionally, solar lights are environmentally friendly and energy-efficient, making them a perfect fit for sustainable rooftop gardens or green roofs.
Q: Can solar lights be operated manually?
No, solar lights cannot be operated manually as they rely solely on sunlight to charge their batteries and power the lights.
