- Q: is it a type of plastic ..if not what is it ?
- yes it is a plastic. A form of polystyrene.
- Q: What plastic is used when delivering a baby. What tools are plastic. . .etc etc
- I guess it depends on what type of birth you have. We had 2 home births and 1 birth center birth. During the 2 home births I remember teh supplies better because I had to get them myself. I know we had plastic to cover the bed. And another piece to have if needed depending on how things went. During our home water birth the tub had a plastic liner to keep the tub sanitary for other clients. Other plastic items includes the exterior of the chux pads (those absorbent pads they lay under you), some of the packaging for items like hydrogen peroxide and numbing gel. Also the tape measure used to measure baby's head is plastic I believe (at least the one we bought). The bulb syringe is also usually plastic. Of course the covering and materials of the diaper if you use disposable diapers for the baby. Maybe the cover if you're using cloth (that really depends though since there are so many options now a days...not when my kids were babies though..it was plastic!!). That's about all I can think of. I bet there is more though. Plastic is in so much.
- Q: How does ground cover impact the growth of nearby herbs?
- Ground cover can have both positive and negative impacts on the growth of nearby herbs. On one hand, the right type of ground cover can provide protection from extreme temperatures, help retain moisture in the soil, and prevent weed growth, which can enhance the growth of herbs. On the other hand, if the ground cover is too dense or competes for resources like sunlight or nutrients, it may hinder the growth of nearby herbs by limiting their access to these vital elements. Therefore, choosing the appropriate ground cover and ensuring it is properly managed is crucial in determining its impact on the growth of nearby herbs.
- Q: i have checked on google but it always talks about plastic bags. im talking about plastic in general.plss help me ASAP!!!
- it is bad for the environment because there is no natural process for decomposing plastics back into useful material that is found in soil, so when u leave a piece of plastic outside it will just stay there most other things when left to nature are broken down in some way
- Q: How do you prevent root-bound plants in nursery trays?
- To prevent root-bound plants in nursery trays, it is important to regularly inspect and monitor the root growth of the plants. Regularly check the tray for any signs of overcrowding or excessive root growth. If the roots start to encircle the bottom or sides of the tray, it is necessary to transplant the plant to a larger container. Additionally, it is crucial to provide adequate spacing between plants in the trays and ensure proper drainage to avoid waterlogging. Regularly fertilizing and watering the plants in a balanced manner can also promote healthy root development and prevent them from becoming root-bound.
- Q: Can nursery trays be used for starting plants from leaf cuttings?
- Yes, nursery trays can be used for starting plants from leaf cuttings. These trays provide a convenient and organized way to propagate plants from leaf cuttings, as they can hold multiple cuttings in separate compartments. Additionally, nursery trays often have drainage holes that allow excess water to escape, which is important for the successful rooting of leaf cuttings.
- Q: Can nursery trays be used for flower arrangements?
- Yes, nursery trays can be used for flower arrangements. They provide a convenient and practical option for organizing and displaying flowers in a neat and organized manner.
