Q: im looking for a job in the medical profession. ive heard that plastic surgeons make a lot of money but im not sure on exactly how much. so how much do they usually make in Canada?
sophisticated point. look over search engines like google. that can help!
Q: do you agree to No on plastic bags because of Global Warming ? when we go to grocery store shoping at mall i cant imagine myself carring my own bag especially if im doing alot of shopping and lots of bags are required i dont agree no to plastic its not going to solve all the problems we have there are lots of causes for global warming.
the re-useable bags are not that expensive and lasts for ages, think about the future, would it really be that much of a sacrifice to ditch the plastic bags? Billions of plastic bags are thrown away in Britain every year, most of which are used only once before disposal. In a survey2 in March 2005, 36% of those asked admitted to throwing away 'vest'-style plastic bags after one use. On average, people surveyed admitted to using roughly eight bags per week. Plastic bags take up huge amounts of space in our country's landfill sites, space that could be used much more effectively. Many carrier bags end up as unsightly litter in trees, streets, parks and gardens which, besides being ugly, can kill birds, small mammals and other creatures. Bags that make it to the ocean may be eaten by sea turtles and marine mammals, who mistake them for jellyfish, with disastrous consequences, or may end up drifting into the 'Doldrums', an area of the world's oceans that have become the final resting place of much of the world's floating junk. The production, decomposition and disposal by burning of plastic bags also releases greenhouse gases3 that contribute to global warming. Although the burning of fossil fuels has a much greater impact, the production and disposal of carrier bags plays a part in this terrible global phenomenon. The plastic bags may be free to you, but at what cost to the environment?
Q: Can nursery trays be used for orchids?
Yes, nursery trays can be used for orchids. They provide a suitable container for growing orchids, allowing for proper drainage and aeration. However, it is important to ensure that the trays have adequate drainage holes and are made of materials that do not retain excess moisture, as orchids are sensitive to overwatering.
Q: Why do plastic surgery?
Plastic surgery is in most cases very successful. In a lot of situations, people with deformed faces will get plastic surgery, not just people looking to improve their natural features.
Q: Are there nursery trays with built-in heating elements?
Yes, there are nursery trays available with built-in heating elements. These trays are designed to provide a controlled and consistent temperature for the optimal growth of plants and seedlings. The heating elements help create a warm and nurturing environment, which promotes germination and healthy root development.
Q: If you can, tell how each plastic looks like.
Thermo Plastics (soften when heated): Polyethylene, Polyvinyl chloride, Polypropylene, Polystyrene, Polyethylene terephalate, Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, Polymethyl methacrylate, Polyamide. Thermosetting Plastics (release heat as they harden): Polyurethane, Phenolic, Melamine-formaldehyde, Urea-formaldehyde, Polyester, Epoxy. There are the names of 14 plastics I could remember. I have no idea how to figure out which are the six most popular. Perhaps you should do a search on each one, with an additional parameter to narrow the search. For example, Polyethylene+ global-annual-production Don't use the quotation marks; no space before but one space after the plus; no spaces before or after the hyphen. Once you know the global annual production of each type, you could rank them in order and find the most popular types. Why do teachers ask such idiotic questions? They sound so easy, but finding the true facts is always nearly impossible. Why couldn't they just say, Name six common plastics. Oh well, it's your problem, not mine. Oops! Forgot the last part of the question. It is generally impossible to describe the appearance of a particular type of plastic. Their names refer to the chemical structure of their molecules and their appearance depends largely on techniques used during manufacture. Another idiotic teacher question, hopelessly vague and nearly impossible to answer. Again, it's your problem. Bye....................
Q: I posted a previous question on yahoo answers! about homemade ferret toys. I can't remember if it was this one or my other account...One answer that I recieved was: They love to play with plastic bags and wrapping paper.I tried this today. I got about 30 plastic bags out of the kitchen closet, and unsquished them... threw them in a huge pile in the living room, and then put him inside. He was supervised during this play time because I have found quot;Mr. Stewiequot; to be much like a baby in many way... I once caught him trying to eat a cigarrete butt that had somehow found it's way to the floor, and other mischeifs.Would it be safe for him to play with this item alone? What if I leave some bags in his room while I am at work? (His cage door is left open while I work long hours as a teacher.)
Plastic bags are fine as long as you supervise him. Most ferrets will not eat plastic. If you do see him eating the plastic then you need to take them away. You also need to cut off the handles and poke some air holes in the bags.
Q: Are nursery trays suitable for starting plants from adventitious roots?
No, nursery trays are not suitable for starting plants from adventitious roots. Adventitious roots are formed from non-root tissues, such as stems or leaves. They require a more controlled environment, such as a propagation tray with appropriate media and moisture levels, to successfully develop into new plants.
Q: What are the different types of plastic trays used in horticulture?
There are several types of plastic trays commonly used in horticulture, including seedling trays, propagation trays, plug trays, and nursery trays. Each type serves a specific purpose in the cultivation and propagation of plants.
Q: What are the advantages of using nursery trays?
Nursery trays offer several advantages in the field of horticulture and plant propagation. Firstly, they provide a controlled and organized environment for germinating seeds or rooting cuttings, allowing for efficient space utilization and easy handling. Secondly, the trays ensure uniformity in the size and shape of the plants, which promotes better growth and facilitates transplanting. Additionally, nursery trays can enhance irrigation and drainage, preventing waterlogged or over-dry conditions that may harm the plants. Lastly, using nursery trays also aids in weed control, as they create a barrier between the plants and the surrounding soil, reducing competition for resources.
