- Q: The amount of calcium carbonate (CaCO3; molar mass 100.1 g/mol) in the ore dolomite can be determined by gravimetric analysis. The dolomite sample is dissolved in acid and the calcium ions (Ca2+) present are precipitated as calcium oxalate (CaC2O4; molar mass 128.1 g mol/1). The calcium oxalate is fltered, driedand strongly heated to form calcium oxide (CaO; molar mass 56.1 g mol).In one analysis the mass of dolomite used was 3.72 g. The mass of calcium oxide formed was found to be 1.24 g.The percentage of calcium carbonate in the dolomite sample is closest to:A. 26.9B. 33.3C. 56.0D. 59.5Two possible sources of error in this analysis areI. the precipitate of calcium oxalate is not rinsed with water after being fltered.II. the calcium oxide is not heated to constant mass.Which of these two errors, if any, would lead to a result that is too high?A. I onlyB. II onlyC. both I and IID. neither I nor II

- Q: what are organic and inorganic rocks how are they formed?
- This Site Might Help You. RE: what are organic and inorganic rocks how are they formed?
- Q: There were two big rocks in the bean field dug up by a big farm cultivator, both about the same size but the round rock I could not pick up but the flat rock I could. Does dolomite have iron in it? Does dolomite have gold in it?
- I wouldn't leave the nail in the tyre, but neither would I plug it. I'd take it to a tyre fitters, because the tyre should come off to fit a mushroom plug from the inside. They might advise a new tyre anyway for safety.
- Q: What are the best sources for magnesium?
- Magnesium is actually quite a common element - making up 2.5% of the earth's crust. The biggest uses for magnesium are for its compounds. The biggest single user being the steel industry which uses calcined dolomite (calcium magnesium carbonate) as a flux. This makes dolomite the biggest single ore for magnesium. The second biggest ore is magnesite - more or less pure magnesium carbonate. About 20 million tons of magnesite are produced each year - as documented in link 1 below. Most magnesite goes into fillers - your toothpaste is mostly magnesite - as is the white stuff making up most of the pills that carry prescription and non prescription drugs. Magnesium oxide is made into refractory bricks for lining furnaces. . Sea water is another source - but much smaller - about 2 million tonnes per year - made by reacting sea water with calcined dolomite. A lot of this magnesium ends up as magnesium chloride, which is used as a deicer and a de dusting agent on dirt roads. Dow Chemical had a plant in Freeport Texas which made magnesium metal starting from seawater. This plant started in 1943 and ran until 1999, when it could no longer stand the competition from China. . As for magnesium metal, annual production is about 750,000 metric tons per year - of which 85% comes from China. The source for the Chinese magnesium is magnesite ore. There are numerous different processes to make magnesium - most using electrolysis. It takes about 10 kW Hr of electricity to make one pound of magnesium. There has been a lot of activity about magnesium in Australia over the past 15 years and there are no less than eight major proposed projects to make magnesium metal. (See link 2). None has so far got into construction. Finally if you actually want to buy magnesium metal - try link 3.
- Q: need it by tonight
- consult your car's manual on how to enter the valet mode, as most car makes have different settings for this. in valet mode, the alarm's shock sensor is disabled. siren will only go off when one of the doors are forced open.
- Q: I am thinking of having a trip to Italy in Jan. 3-4days in the north of Italy for skiing or mountaineering. but I don‘t know the exact place I should go. maybe somebody could give me some advice, Thx
- Great idea! You can go to Monte Pana (not particularly economical but really beautiful and very long slopes where you can ski all day without ever taking the same lift), but there are also the Matterhorn, Dolomites and Milky Way. You can leave from Milan with a train or rent a car. Spending a couple of days in Milan in that period can be fun too. it's the period of the sales, there are lots of craftmanship markets and thousands of activities for all tastes! Check out the facebook profile below for interesting tips!
- Q: Hello (: I have a 30 gallon tank with 2 blood parrot cichlids that has white Argonite sand. I‘ve got a few temporary decorations in there for them to hide in, but I‘d really like to get my hands on some nice looking rock. I‘m really thinking about Tufa, but ive been seeing alot of forums where people like Texas Holey rock better, as well as Limestone, River Rock, and Dolomite. What kind of rock should i get? Price is also an issue I want to go for the cheapest, best looking one for my money Thanks (:
- Parrots are south american cichlids. I did a tank of africans and I got all of the rocks I used from my yard. I took a stock pot and boiled all of the rocks for a few minutes. I used sandstone (not particularly beautiful) and didn't have any problems. After a while all the rocks were covered in algae anyway. I have also used stone pavers from home depot. I just rinsed them. In hindsight, I probably should have smashed them up a little and boiled them. Pavers are a lot cheaper than the rocks you get at pet stores :)
- Q: im looking for a stick that isnt that heavy with a curve thats good for wrist and snapshots. i was thinking warrior dolomite with draper or kovalchuck curve or an easton st with what they call roy(gaborik) curve. both both with 85 flex and i shoot left
- Try out an Easton, those things are amazing. I have an Ignalia curve, but you could also get a few others.
- Q: Just a Land mark Nothing else.
- Its all mountains.I would say the Marmolada Massif, The highest Massif in the Dolomites.
- Q: So i have three full lacrosse sticks, i have an evo pro on a titan classic, a gait torque on a woodrow, and an evo pro on a dolomite. Should i leave the same heads on the same shafts or switch them up. If so which heads should i switch and what shafts should i put them on. thanks.
- well speaking from expierience you should roll up toilet paper and stick them in each of the shafts, then remmeber that its all preference you fool
