Introduction:

Similar to those used in commercial nurseries, this seed starter has hinged cells that open like a book so you can inspect root growth or remove the plant for transplanting.

Roots are automatically air-pruned to create a denser root mass, and grooved sidewalls direct them straight down to minimize spiralling. Seedlings slide out easily, avoiding damage to the root system and associated transplant shock.

Cells are 5" deep by 1-1/2" square. Each reusable polystyrene kit is made up of one 14-1/4" by 8-1/4" frame (requiring minor assembly) and eight four-cell books (for a total of 32 growing cells).

Q: Its actually shaped like a pig. So, how do I decorate this plastic pig?
you could try painting it - acrylic paints might work, altho' i'm not too sure. check at any craft store for painting on plastic. you could make stamp/leaf prints using these colors. you could also try 3-D tube colors to give a raised effect. you could glue embellishments with PVA glue. i know those will stick ;-). eg. ribbons, mirrors, beads, sequins, glitter, shells, lace, scrap fabric, colored styrofoam balls, dried flowers/herbs, artificial flowers, ... or glue paper [there is such a variety of textures, colors, prints you could choose from]. you could glue pictures/paper to form a collage [anything related to pigs, pork, etc.] or narrate a story such as the 3 little pigs, etc. you could make chains out of the beads, etc. use that in attractive ways around the container. you could also add some crochet or knitting to enhance the look. you could also use a combination of more than one of the above. a lot would depend on what you would be using the container for. if it's only for display [no washing required] then you could decorate with anything without fear. hope these help you get started all the very best have fun

Q: I have to write an essay against plastic surgery, but I need help with a good HOOK...idk how to get the readers attention.
Hello... Pro's And Con's Of Plastic Surgery In America University of Phoenix | The Pro’s and Con’s of Plastic Surgery | Com 150 Effective Essay Writing | Patrice Elliott 11/15/2009 | So many people wonder about plastic surgery. Ranging, from individuals who have been plagued by disease, and need it to feel whole, to those who are vain and want to look different. Cosmetic surgery has come across more people’s minds in this day and age than in any other time in history. Plastic surgery has been viewed as a form of art, in that it can literally make a person appear as someone else. Perhaps renew a confidence you used to have, or give you confidence you never had, but are there risks and are you ready to accept them? Plastic surgery originated in ancient India. It is well documented in Sushruta Samhita (June 2006) by Kaviraj Kunjalal Bhishagratna, “that several types of surgery were performed in the Vedic period about 3500 B.C... You can get more info here:
Q: What are the alternatives to traditional waterproofing materials that can be utilized in agriculture?

In agriculture, alternatives to traditional waterproofing materials include natural substances like clay, which can be used to create barriers against water infiltration, and organic materials such as straw or compost that can help retain soil moisture. Additionally, hydrophilic polymers can absorb and retain water, reducing the need for waterproofing. Permeable fabrics and geotextiles can also be used to control water flow and prevent soil erosion. These alternatives can be more sustainable and environmentally friendly compared to synthetic waterproofing materials.

Q: I have a lot of german garten zwerge[little gnomes]have a lot of black spots from being outdoors,I guess how do I get rid of them.I heard a good plastic cleaner might do it.

Q: Im trying to join 2 polymer plastic pieces together to make a permanent joint. What are some really strong epoxies i can use?
Hello Steve M, Epoxy is not the way to go with plastics, it is used on rough or porous surfaces. For plastics you need a plastic cement which chemically melts the plastic surfaces so they join as one. The cement you require is dependent on the type of plastic you have and to identify this you would be best to take your piece/s to a plastic sheet seller where they will also sell cements. If all you require is a low pressure seal, silicons are very good at resisting liquids and vibration.
